As an OC, for example, you would only control the offensive side of the game when playing against the CPU. If you're playing another user then you would control both sides. Other than that it operates as normal (except for the Coach Skills. You only get to assign yours.)

Just a thought here... but, since we already picked our teams (some for the roster, some for alma mater, some for... jersey color?) shouldn't we just use the default rosters like we do in the NDL? That way, we don't get any nasty surprises with rosters/attributes changing..

Also, IMO we should use pretty difficult sliders.. If we are starting as 1* teams, we should be losing games. (If you want it to be realistic at least)

I've lost 14 games over 2 seasons in his other OD, including just getting blown out 45-0, so if he sets it up like that, I will be getting my ass beat on a regular basis. The sad part is I actually try to win these games and I can't

It'll be a little more difficult than you think Twista. Remember, you won't have any control over one side of the ball. We won't be using default sliders though, I will adjust accordingly. Also, I realize there will be a little disparity between the skill level of users in the league. Not a whole lot I can do about that. I'm all for having the games being more difficult than easy but I don't want myself and/or others getting discouraged from playing because it's to difficult. But I will monitor how it's going for everyone and make any necessary adjustments.

I used to play ODs back in the day . . . actually ran "The First "OFFICIAL" NDL Online Dynasty" for 2 versions. My issue with playing the CPU is that they complete 95% of their passes . . . and you could NEVER sack the CPU. I have not played an OD in about 2 versions, but have run up against some offline games just getting some practice in, and it seems that is still the case . . . or . . . maybe I just suck . . . who knows

I definitely believe you that it will be difficult! I plan on losing a lot of games! Haha... I was just saying that it SHOULD be difficult, not that it won't be.
