GoTW - Week 5

ImageCoach buckeye76: 0-0 (0-0) vs. ImageCoach wj5811: 2-0 (0-0)

Make no mistake, this is going to be a rough week for Cincinnati. They will be completely out manned and mismatched in this game, but...just maybe there is that little glimmer of hope that somehow something will just click and give the Bearcats the win that puts them on the map. For Notre Dame this could be their last chance to win an NDL title. Coach wj5811 has had his Irish close several seasons but always seemed to just be on the cusp, the outside looking in. Can the #13 ranked Fighting Irish stay focused despite playing a lowly second tier team? Here's betting the Bearcats hope not.

AAC Notables

Image Coach Dakshdar: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Image Coach dolemitesooner: 1-1 (1-0)
The Sooners have suffered an early season loss and will be looking to get back on track against a team that hasn't had an opportunity to play yet. Look for the Sooners to get back on the right track.

Image Coach RanDawg: 1-1 (1-0) vs. Image Coach brwnbear: 0-1 (0-0)
Give Houston credit for going big or going home early. Unfortunately though it has come back to bite them. Now they must pick themselves up, dust off and push on hoping for things to start falling their way to get back in the chase. A game against Illinois will help cure what ails them.

Image Coach nole4real: 0-1 (0-0) vs. Image Coach Bucki2000: 0-2 (0-0)
Noley has a great opportunity to get his team in the win column when the Bulls visit the Blue Devils. Will he choke it away? Fingers foil him? Nah, this should be a easy win for him.

Image Coach driccio21: 1-1 (0-0) vs. Image Coach oldschoola: 0-0 (0-0)
UConn is looking to pick up their 2nd win of the season and against a team like Memphis that should be easy enough.

Image Coach relio95: 0-1 (0-0) vs. Image Coach fsupenguin: 0-0 (0-0)
Potential to be a game of the week but with only one game played between them...well. SMU has the coach at the helm that could easily pull the upset here. Will the fsupengy of old show up?

I think I figured it out . . . the key to success is . . . "THROW LESS INTs"
