I don't think it's in this article but Sony basically said they needed to charge in order to improve the service over time.

I assumed he was talking about Sony charging for online on PS3. I don't see it happening...

I was asking where Sony stated that when the PS4 comes out, that you will have to start paying to play games online unlike today where you can play games for free online.

It's $50 a year and well worth it. There are free games every month. Right now, you can get Uncharted 3 free.

For some, sure.

For me, not worth it, but of course I'll have to have it on the PS4

Ah. Yeah that's had been confirmed many times over. I don't mind. It is a good service.

im actually fine with paying to play online as long as the PSN connection is improved
