Re: NBA 2012-2013 Thread
Drive #1 I believe he got a switch off and was left against George Hill.
Drive #2 he had no one between him and the basket.
In both cases, if I remember right, Hibbert was out of the game.
I really don't get your point... no other factor needs to even be considered beyond that.
As for the clutch/not clutch gene... you've clearly got me confused with someone else. I've never taken a stance on either side of that debate. My gripe with Lebron was based on being passive vs aggressive in crunch time (and in general). A few of you argue so much random shit around here that you can't keep who said what straight.

My joke was based on the passive thing as well, so we're on the same page lol.ReignOnU wrote:Drive #1 I believe he got a switch off and was left against George Hill.

I can keep straight that you think Monta Ellis is just below D WadeReignOnU wrote: A few of you argue so much random shit around here that you can't keep who said what straight.

Actually, you couldn't... after allegedly reading it just a week before.

So again... what's the argument? He took nobody to the hoop and he took George Hill to the hoop... I would certainly hope he'd go to the hole in both of those scenarios, especially with Hibbert off of the floor.shel311 wrote:My joke was based on the passive thing as well, so we're on the same page lol.ReignOnU wrote:Drive #1 I believe he got a switch off and was left against George Hill.

We'll have a test in a week... don't try writing the answer on the bottom of your shoes.

i tried defending Ellis for arguing with Dave sake but you cant. Wade is just a greater player. More effective, overall better. I mean some stats when compared by age like TOV% are close, but i mean effective fg% is like .520 vs .448 lol. thats horrifying.

Lebatard's article from yesterday that I posted sums it up perfectly.

Now we have an interesting series.
The refs completely lost control of this game and I loved every minute of it

It was pretty bad, at least it was bad on both sides for the most part. But they seemed real inconsistent to me on what contact was allowed in the paint.shel311 wrote:Now we have an interesting series.

I love it. Let them play. They are all big boys, I think they can handle it. And we get some awesome games in return.
