Battlefield 4. Naval Combat

Post by trendon »

Apparently, there will battles in the sea. I hope it isn't just a mode exclusive to just sea battles or if it will be like with the planes, helicopters, tanks, and other vehicles where they are integral to the task.

Battlefield 4 gameplay video next Wednesday, March 27

I will buy it regardless but if I find out that I will be trying to plant a bomb while getting shot at by a fucking battleship from 800 meters away, I might just punt my money to EA right now.

Did you play Battlefield 1943? That was sort of naval where you just started on the ship and used planes or boats to get to shore. Obviously it will be more advanced than that one was. I'm definitely moving to the Battlefield game this time around. Had both at one time (Cod and BF) but didn't really have time for both.

No, I was a last second convert as I possessed MW3 and BF3 and chose to sell CoD. I did play two rounds of 1943 briefly but after playing the uber realistic engine DICE has, it was boring to me.

Well, I play for multi-player but this video is still cool. Gets pretty crazy at like 12 minutes.

Watched it also, I played a good portion of Battlefield 2 campaign, not very much of 3. That looks amazing.

October 29th is the release date as of now.

Let's see if I can get to 700 hours played of BF3 before release.
