Re: Bad News
We went through a pre-mature birth with my middle son. He was 2 months early and only 2 pounds. Luckily he didn't have any complications and after a brief hospital stay he was home. He's now 11 and very healthy. Our prays go out to you and your family. Hopefully you'll have everyone home soon.I_S33M_THAB33T_U wrote:While I was at work tonight got a phone call that the ole lady had multiple seizures, She is 6 and half months pregnant.
get to the ER and she had 2 more seizures and they were in the process of delivering the baby. Needless to say, been a very rough night, And not sure what to expect at this moment other then I have a new baby girl who is 2 and half months early and weighs almost 2 lbs.
Other then that I have no idea at this point, They have mom in stable condition but she still is not good.
The called it Clamesia (not sure of spelling) or something weird like that. said it happens about 1 out of 150 births, And more common in 1st time mothers.
So needless to say, I will no longer be running my OD or participating in any others. I will transfer my OD over to beefy when I can, It may be a few days or so though. And I cant really speak of when I will have time to export anything to OOTP. As any and all my time will be spent in the hospital with the new baby till they figure out when she can come home, They are saying 2-3 months from now.

Re: Bad News

Got good news yesterday. She is doing better then they expected. She looks like a glow worm(some may not know what this is. But it is some blanket she is laying on to help with a small Jandis that she is showing atm.
But she is no longer on a breathing machine and has been on her own with this for 4 days now, Is drinking 2 CC's of breast milk every 3 hours now, And is ahead of schedule according to the doctors, This eased my thoughts alot.

How is the mother doing? I know you said she was still not out of the woods yet, is she getting better?
