When I took my current job, my company paid moves to move all my stuff and store it until I found a place.
But, I have no clue who they used.
I will say, it was much, much quicker than doing it myself. I packed my stereo equipment myself because I didn't trust them (and I still had the original boxes), but they showed up with about 5-6 people, bubble wrap, packing paper (for glass/dishes), and boxes. Five of them packed and the other one wrote down everything that was packed and kept track of it all. All boxes were packed, labeled, and loaded on their truck in about 4 hours and the rest of the furniture was on in about another hour. It would have taken me 2-3 days to do what they did in about 5 hours.
My place was 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, living room, office.
You can go on the uhaul website and hire movers/ packers. They will supply a truck or you can rent one. They also have ratings to help you pick out the best one. May save you some money.
I moved like 3 months agao and the movers cost me and my older brother like 350. And it was much better than doing it myself or having the fam do it. Just box everything up and they're pretty quick
I dont mind the boxing up as the wife will handle most of that its the big things (couches, book cases, beds) shit like that.
I have a quote out to someone right now to get an idea but being that the move is like 45 minutes from where I live now and they charge by the hour, thats almost 2 hours in transit alone.
Another good thing is Shel it will only be big stuff if you help like listed above. We can always do the small things like the boxes.
And Ill try not to take any stop signs out this time.
Shel. If you help this time, don't settle for anything less than The Capital Grille. PF's is good for the first time around but true friendship needs to be rewarded.
