[Wasted Memory]

Per Memphis TV station and picked up by bleacher report. Gruden has contract offer from Tennessee in hand and it has a stake in the browns if he takes the job. Lot of NCAA red tape has to be cleared but interesting pitch.

I know that's what he's supposed to do, but he laughed it off this morning on Mike & Mike when they interviewed him.

What does everyone think of the Les Miles to Arkansas rumors? 5 years/$27.5 million

Interesting.

There would be no other reason whatsoever to leave than just making more money. Though I wouldn't fault him for leaving for more money. What does he make per year at LSU now? I have no clue.

For all of his faults and blunders and we could go on and on about those, it's pretty hard to discount LSU's accomplishments in his 8 years here. There are plenty of other teams who rake in recruits left and right that aren't as accomplished. I would say, in the 8 years he's been here, LSU is at worst the 3rd best program in the nation(UF and Bama). It's just really hard to separate all the blunders and dumb sounding interviews with all the winning he has done, cause he has done a lot of that as well.

Definitely a great recruiter. But my issue is, it's not like LSU has a #1 recruiting class, nothing but 5 star recruits every year. There are plenty of other teams recruiting just as well as LSU, but only 1 or 2 have done as well as LSU since he's taken over.

Les miles is the anti Larry Coker. Les has done very well of keeping the instate recruits home and building off of what coach Saban left for him. I thought he would crash and burn but he has not. He is a much better coach I gave him credit for.
