Smoke and mirrors. If you say it enough people will believe it. baah baah baah little sheep.
Wait wait wait...

You're not being serious, are you? You're saying republicans don't ignore Romney's lies?

You're calling me or whoever the "little sheep" while thinking this is a one sided issue LOL.

I'm saying this guy lied to you for 4 years and you ignore it. Then you yell from the rafters how Romney lies.

Maybe down the road but not in the near future.
While true in the literal sense(though I'm not sure I'd say it's wasted, but I get what you're saying) and definitely the short term, I know I'm speaking the obvious, but if everyone collectively thinks this way then the 2 party system will never be challenged.
What you both said if true without a doubt. I've only voted for a major party presidential candidate once and it was because I so strongly wanted to get rid of the incumbent.

I look at voting as a powerful form of peaceful protest. It's our chance as Americans to peacefully and legally stage a revolution every four years. But as long as the two party system and the "unassociated but associated" powers behind it remain, the people's power to actually change our government to something that may better suit the needs of our country as a whole now and in the future is effectively zero. The Democrats and Republicans like to appear as if they are good and evil and vice versa but the fact of the matter is the it really doesn't matter which party is going to be in power. Our government and economy are monstrously huge entities and it will take more than four to eight years and one or two presidents and congresses to change what's going on. To affect that type of change in a realistic timespan would require a complete change in thinking and policy. That won't happen as long as the two main parties are calling each other names and saying it's all each other's fault when really it's both of their faults. So I'll just continue throwing away my vote and hopelessly hoping that my one vote can actually be the one that causes a change.

Obama stepped his game up last night and came out swinging

Romney still has amazing hair

And I don't care what you say, that was good tv

It comes down to who lies less and what Obama has done the last 4 years isn't exactly wonderful. Not to mention Obamacare is an Obamination....eh eh??? :)

But but Obama said something about some terror attacks and that is very important to which candidate will do a better job over the next 4 years!!!!!
I saw him lie about calling the attack in Libya a terror attack. Then I saw the moderator back his lie which she shouldn't have done. It was a lie. A flat out lie. He didn't call it a terror attack for 2 weeks. I watched the address in the Rose Garden the next day. He said it was a response to that video and so did the rest of the White House staff.

"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for."

You can quote that all you want. He never said it was a terror attack. He said it was a response to the video on Youtube. 14 days later on The View he was asked if it was a terror attack and he said he didn't know.

He did come out swinging and he looked angry at points. I think he did well. I don't think it was a slam dunk like some people are saying around here but I did give him the edge.

Agreed. He won but I think Romney held his ground most of the way.

Not sure why that moderator was siding with anyone as that's not moderating.

I thought better questions could have been asked by that group but it's not like they would have answered them anyways

why dont you just watch tv on firstrowsports? they have live streaming american channels and stuff too that you can watch as well as the sports. Connect your computer to the TV instead of your monitor and stream it. quality might be a little less than perfect but better than PBS or whatever youre watching now

this is more of a race than i originally thought, but the answers about gun control and abortions from Romney were just so bad.

Will be very surprised if Obama doesn't win

impose TERM LIMITS for the house and senate and this should change right? I would think so. Why there are not term limits at every level of the government is beyond me. Why not have it the same as a president's. 4 years and rerun. Or even give one in office 6 years and then they are done no matter what
