Why is it preposterous that once a week for ~20 weeks out of each year I spare 3 hours to watch 1 game? They're either on TV (often for me now since there is no LA area NFC team and since they're on primetime often) or I go to a local bar (when I lived in Virginia for three years there was a "Giants Bar" that only showed that game so I was there every weekend, and here in Manhattan Beach there is a sports bar ten minutes from where I live if I walk there that I watch all non-broadcast games).
I think you're over-estimating the difficulty in watching one team play once a week for football season.
I bet there are multiple guys in here that do the same for their team, whether it's NFL or college.
I'm just grateful to see the Bucs giving effort in the fourth quarter. Didn't see much of that during the back half of last season. I guess there should be a segment of pissed of people for Romeo calling timeouts at the end of the Bills game? No? Coughlin needs to shut up (though I slightly agree with him).

with all due respect Samuel, you mean effort in the last 6 seconds of the 4th quarter. Because the other parts of the 4th quarter they gave up 25 points
I'm not the dumbass calling single man coverage with a safety blitz every play after it clearly wasn't working. Doesn't mean our little guys didn't do their best while getting roasted!

I know this means nothing to the "cheap shot" "unwritten rules" guys, but I don't see how it's irrelevant.
The Bucs should stop trying when they want to stop trying or when the game is over. NYG should not get to dictate when everyone gets to stop trying.
they had to knock the ball loose, recover it in a pile of about 20 people and then return it for a TD.
can we just step into reality for one second here? even if the fumble was caused, thats 1/3 of what was necessary.
You're making assumptions to support your argument. I can assume the fumble would go backwards or sideways, cause you never know where a fumble is going to go.
Even if they don't score on that play, they get the ball with a second or 2 and can run a hail mary. ANd like you said, when on offense, odds don't matter you go for it!!!
and i'm not saying they should quit. they shouldn't. they should play til the final whistle... which is what you keep getting at.
they just shouldn't go shooting at guys knees like they did. thats not cool in the 1st quarter on 1st and 10 or in victory formation. its dangerous and unnecessary.
