I started yelling at the side judge near us, then coaches did, then everyone did. He glanced up, looked back at the line. We kept yelling, and after losing 30 seconds, the next play started. HE finally said "the clock doesn't stop in that situation" The fuck it doesn't! It was an incomplete pass! it stops in every single level of football with an incomplete pass (maybe not intramural flag football). We were livid, he was stupid.

Awwwww come on guys. They are doing the best that they can!!!

I dont blame these dumbasses, I blame the NFL for putting this product on the field to officiate the hardest sport professional sport out there.

Swelly, imagine you were asked to be the super duper bag guy at Southwest or whatever the hell you do and everyone was watching you. Youd fail too!!

This. But it's still really fun to yell at them and then say things like "don't worry guys, you'll be back in D2 in no time" and "The Glenville (local HS where Ginn and Troy Smith went) was Friday night! Why are you still here?" to them

my point is people will use any chance they can to point the finger and put blame on others.

in this situation its the perfect storm, there is nobody but the refs themselves (and maybe the NFL to save their own face) that are on the refs side.

its a great news story for the media, its a great story/excuse for fans, coaches obviously will always want perfection so they are going to rip into them, the players want an out if they play bad. its the perfect storm.

and in reality, they aren't impacting the game nearly as much as people want to believe they are. its human nature to want to have an out and point the finger at someone else for fucking up.

I forgot the replacement refs make more in 1 game than Seeit makes in a whole season, but man, must be nice chirping from the laundry room !!

and then when it gets to the news stations, he acts like he hates it but reminds us of every time they show it

I still laughed. I told Brandon in the locker room before the game "I just checked with the game ops people, no flag, we're good to go" He started laughing and goes "good, those fuckers are relentless"

I thought about that a little but then factored:

Speed
22 guys vs 10
Larger field(sure more refs)

But I got nfl in this one

I'd go NHL. You need to be skating while watching everything rather than just walking around, standing still, or maybe even jogging. And you're way more likely to get hurt if you get hit by the puck vs getting hit by the football.

Don't know much about NHL rules and shit but I tried ice skating once and let's just say I didn't leave the wall to often.

NHL may get my vote
