National Players of the Week (Block 1)

Week 1 -- Offensive Player of the Week
Jacob Pedersen, TE, Wisconsin

Pedersen was exceptional the week 1 loss to Virginia Tech. Despite the Badgers coming up short, Pedersen's 10 catches and 275 yards and a TD gave Wisconsin a fighting chance.

Week 1 -- Defensive Player of the Week
Thaddeus Brown, CB, Nevada

Brown helped lead the Wolfpack to a win over Cal in Week 1 with an amazing 4 int's.

Week 2 Offensive Player of the Week
Tyler Ervin, RB, San Jose St

Ervin went silly in week 2 with 25 carries 338 yards rushing and 4 td's. He added 2 catches 30 yards and a td recieving just to rub it in.

Week 2 Defensive Player of the Week
Jermaine Holmes, LB, Marshall

Holmes led a stellar defensive effort for Marshall in week 2 with 4 sacks and 5 tackles on the day. Marshall used his defensive pressure to hold North Texas to just 3 points.

That makes the #'s I put up last season with Josh Chichester look pedestrian and he was 1st team AA.

the TE is WAAAAY to easy to hit wide open this year

Cane has something special with that TE over there. The guy is a sure catch if it's in his vicinty - big target with good enough speed. Goodluck Big 10 dealing with that guy
