EA might be giving us money soon
Re: EA might be giving us money soon
I couldnt care less about the few bucks after seeing that EA's deal with the NCAA would end for five years. What the hell would that do to the NDL?!?!

Re: EA might be giving us money soon
what was the reason behind all this? I haven't been following and it didn't see it in the article.
2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 = $13.35 wahoo
...hopefully we don't have to prove we have all of them

Can someone explain this lawsuit?
Why can't EA set whatever price they want?

I assume we'll be on an endless loop updating rosters manually from '14-15 until 2K jumps in and makes us a serviceable game?Block M wrote:I couldnt care less about the few bucks after seeing that EA's deal with the NCAA would end for five years. What the hell would that do to the NDL?!?!
Re: EA might be giving us money soon
EA will still make a game, and I am sure they can still have teams/rosters and such, it just can't be "EXCLUSIVE" meaning they can't be the only game company to carry to the game, it's open to whoever else would want to do it, which I dont think anyone will right away, costs to much.I dont think it will effect us at all really.
Season 25 NCAA - New Mexico Lobos 5-7
Season 26 NCAA - Arizona Wildcats 11- 3 (Pac 12 Champions, Rose Bowl Champions)
Season 1 Madden - Seattle Seahawks 12-4 NFC Champoinship game (lost)
Season 27 NCAA - Texas Longhorns 9-4 (Alamo Bowl champs vs USC)

Could put pressure on them to make a better game even. And how are people suppose to prove this? I don't have any of my other old EA games, but I do have every copy of NCAA ever made my them still I believe.xLiQx wrote:EA will still make a game, and I am sure they can still have teams/rosters and such, it just can't be "EXCLUSIVE" meaning they can't be the only game company to carry to the game, it's open to whoever else would want to do it, which I dont think anyone will right away, costs to much.I dont think it will effect us at all really.

They might have PSN, Gamertags, logins, etc for them to cross check. Not sure they would have kept every persona ever used though...

I say they owe most a year supply of free ea games.

What's the bet that they don't actually pay out anything, they just offer download content and bullshit that nobody really wants but will be like "oh cool, I wouldn't have bought it, but now it's free!"

Re: EA might be giving us money soon
From what I understand about settlements and the way the law works, once they set up a fund, it actually is money, they can't use coupons, credit or anything, that is part of the settlement, that they can't force you to use their product with the settlement fund. But I again am not 100% sure on that, but that is how I understand the way settlements work.
I have no idea how they would pay out, cause some people who play the games dont' have the internet, so they coulnd't exclude them. I am guessing it will be like most settlements, you just give them your information and then you claim what games you have and when and you get a piece of the pie. Sounds dumb, cause people can lie, but that is how alot of them are. You have to give them your birthday/ss/name and they crosscheck to make sure you were alive haha. Idk though, who really knows. I know they give you a chance to register all your EA Games on the internet, I wonder if they expected everyone to always do that?
