Injury Timeout or Lack Thereof

Post by swellvermin »

Ummm yeah, thanks EA for shitting all over me tonight.

Ranked scrim vs NDL coach, down 20-17, :10 seconds to go in the game, my HB runs up the middle and gets injured. I am jamming Image to try to get up and spike the ball and attempt a FG...nothing happens as the game shows my HB lying on his back rocking back and forth as the CLOCK WINDS DOWN. I burn my last time out and am so pissed that i say fuck it and try to pass it in for the TD with :03 seconds left and I get picked. Thats besides the point, who cares...I lost, whatever.

But this has got to change. Season 25 is about to start and we cant be having the clock tick like this.....Is this a rule change in the NCAA this year? Does the clock not stop upon injury anymore?

LAME.

You really think EA will fix this?
How long have you been playing NCAA?

The only thing to fix this is play better so that it doesn't come down to the last 10 seconds. :D

I am not sure the clock stops at all lmao.

had a wr run out of bounds on his own only to watch the clock keep ticking down.

..............................

I just wish I had the chance to win a game with :10 secs left.

this was apparent on NCAA 12 as well. Why do we continue to play this shit? EA blows, man. Details, and some of them HUGE details go overlooked and we keep coughing up dough. Making other people rich, I swear....

I mean, what do you want to happen swelly? it's not like we can do anything about it. Just be happy this is the best version of NCAA yet.

this is true IMO also...

read/option works=success in my book. probably too well but who the hell cares,, better than throwing it 50 yards every play

you cannot and have never been able to hurry-up when someone gets hurt it sucks and always has. And, on th egame the clock doesn't stop on an injury and never has unless the ball was dead on the play, a first down occured, or a player makes an advancing attempt while going out of bounds. (I think in the last 2 mins of each half the advancing attempt thing goes away and there's a normal clock stoppage, that is in line with the real rules.)

The clock stops in Madden 12 on injuries. A little box drops below the score overlay and says "injury timeout."

Hell, if it's under 2 minutes in the 4th, an injury costs that team a timeout.

Same fucking company and they can't fix a god damn rule? At least they unified the controls. Phew. Big load off my back

Yeah I think it stopped in NCAA 12 too, but I have a bad memory. 8-)
