they did a heck of a job with this game, imo

I agree, minus the blocking...seems they took a step back this year in that department.

Overall, very enjoyable game to play though.

Yeah, blocking has been quite the adjustment. When you don't have an o-line it shows... Counters are crap for me this year, though on the defensive side, if you have a good DT, you can plow dudes over. Been having a field day with that.

These new animations are nuts and there so many of them we are still going to be seeing refreshing new ones at the end of S26.



Here it looks like the ISU receiver is attempting to make a one-handed catch with his left hand behind his head as he takes a hit. Sweet.

I ran a pass play where I had two WRs and a TE on the left side. The TE ran a flat route, the slot receiver a deep out and the far receiver ran a slant-curl. The TE on the other side ran a post.

So I couldn't find anyone open so I moved a little left to avoid the rush (and all my receivers were on the left) and the receiver on the curl was wide open about 4 yards in front of me. I set my feet and threw it to him but instead of rifling it in there, my QB threw a little shovel pass.

Was pretty cool

Just had an illegal touching penalty called in a game. A receiver ran out of bounds and came back in to try and catch the ball. I love that they put that in the game.

This is good to know because I was playing UclaMac and had a TD pass where the WR obviously came from out of bounds, but it appeared he was forced out of bounds so the play was allowed. Sweet EA got some stuff right.

I'm liking what they did with the QB this year. You're not going to be able to throw the ball on the run. Especially running to the opposite side of your throwing arm. Power and accuracy definitely suffers if you're not planting your feet.
