So I was referred to this site by a couple of the docs here after mentioning my trip to Europe. Theyve all had great experiences with it and zero issues, all while staying in rental units at a lower price than getting a run-of-the-mill-hotel rrom. Ill probably be going this route for any future trips

Just looked there as I still haven't booked my hotels for London or Paris. Seems pretty expensive unless I'm missing something... But London is very expensive either way

I guess its about the same if youre only traveling as a couple. My wife and I will be taking my parents, so instead of having to get two rooms at $150-$200/night each (so 300-350 or so total), we could get a condo in a better location for half the price

This. We've used this for NYC, boston, San Diego, mountain cabins, upcoming Hawaii trip, etc. not had a bad experience yet.

yup...they're perfect for when you're going to a place/city where u wanna get more of the actual vibe rather than sitting in a standard hotel room

These sites can be good, but do good research on the properties you consider. I had a horror story getting a place on the beach with my wifes fam and I found tons of cockroaches. After a huge fight with the owner and the cc companies I got the money back, but it did mess up our vacation. These sites allow the owners to view and approve peoples comments after their stay. We tried to post negative feedback and it didnt show up for almost a year. I had the BBB involved since it was messed up that the sites let them only post positive feedback. It was just a freaking mess and I will never use these sites again because of it. Its worth the extra few bucks a night to go through a real estate company or management company to know that you won't have that issue.
