they'll definitely honor the discount. if you're half the salesman you say you are it'll be cake.

if one store doesn't honor it, bring it to another. or back to that same store when a different manager/shift starts.

ask for managers, ask for district managers, ask for their moms names, ask for telephone numbers tell them you are going to write letters. tell them this is why the company will be out of business in 5 years (which it must likely will be) and keep bitching... eventually they'll just give you the money back to shut you up.

If you just bought it on Tuesday, I am sure all you will have to do is take your receipt in and they will credit you the difference.
