Jay, these guys don't mind living in a world like this:
16 U.S.C. Section 3370 makes it a federal offense for any person to “import, export, transport, sell, receive, acquire, or purchase any fish or wildlife or plant taken, possessed, transported, or sold in violation of any law, treaty, or regulation of the United States or in violation of any Indian tribal law or regulation of any state or any foreign law.
Many people have been prosecuted federally under this statute, which can make it a federal crime to possess a lobster which is too short under some state’s law, or to possess a bony fish from Honduras, which is prohibited in Honduras (though not in the U.S.) – and so on and so forth
Prepare for online monopolies and outright censorship. But, no biggie, let me play Call of Duty. That's why I love what Anonymous is doing. Because none of you are going to do shit. You look at me like I have four heads when I say I sent a letter - a fucking letter - to a Congressman. I get pranked because of it! And Bear with the "OMG, they will be even MORE MADR AT THE INTERNET!" So, fucking what. As of right now, censorship of the internet will be passed; let me enjoy someone fucking shit up. The Powers That Be aren't too comfy with the idea of a group of ordinary people out there that have the means and the will to target them for punishment whenever they commit evil. And unlike a group of brown people in Hakilanistanhadakalab that can be blown up and made to go away, Anon cannot be targeted so easily.
The elites have always expected the revolution to be in the form of a group of armed malcontent militias that they can round up and claim are terrorists. They have never expected a ghost army of needledicked kids at keyboards who take down entire corporations when they're not busy jerking off to Anime porn.
And I think it is great. Anonymous isn't some hacker group; it is just knowledge - the realization that we have all been hoodwinked and happily passed our essential freedoms over to tyrants masquerading as corporations and politicians. What someone chooses to do with this knowledge is up to the individual. If you agree with their philosophy then you are Anonymous. If you don't then expect us.
