I am in again... can I tell you tomorrow night who I will be? I am pretty sure I will stay with VT but just not 100% sure.

If we don't kick this off before the end of the day today, I will not be able to accept the invite until the 1st because I leave tomorrow morning at 5:30 am for the holidays and won't be back until late in the day on New Years.

I don't believe I can remotely accept, and I don't think that Steel can force the dynasty to start if there is an unaccepted coaching offer without dropping that coach.

I would think we could all get our team picks in today? Please?

Im Glad the Majority is coming back, Again I am sorry , my kids and I have had some memorable times with the NCAA 12 this season to say the least......Moving on I am going to send out invites between 3-5pm est today to get the league going again. Yes we are starting from scratch---Since we are starting over there are a couple of things I want to run past the league to see if everyone is in agreement


1-The rule was when picking a team that it can not be a top 10 team, but since we are starting over from the middle of the year I am changing it to it can not be a top 5 team. So going back to the beginning of the season were the following

1. Oklahoma
2. Alabama
3. Stanford
4. LSU
5. Oregon

2-Seems like some guys are possbibly going to switch teams, which is fine, just one request from a scheduling stand point, , I request that we only have 2 users per conferance. Right now there are 2 users in the B1G conferance which closes that conferance from any more users joining. By doing this it guarantees, I think, that everyone will only have 1 user vs user game per season

3-Is everyone ok if when I do the schedules that I try to make them a little more interesting as possible, meaning if you have a Akron, of FCS team, etc, I replace those lower tier teams with a top 25 team? So possibly everyone will have either a A or B+ schedule if possible. I thought it would help keep everyone interested---thoughts?

5- FIRST COME FIRST SERVE WHEN PICKING A TEAM---When you have decided to pick a team please post on the thread the team and the conferance, and also before picking your next team please look in the thread to see if
1-that team has already be chosen
2-Make sure there are not already 2 users in the conferance

all rules are cool with me. It might be a pain in the ass, but can you try to make us all (or majority) have byes in the same weeks? We could advance quicker those weeks.

I think he's implying that if everyone has a bye people could do their recruiting in 1-2 days and advance instead of waiting the 3-4 days to advance. Not just advance through the week and screw everyone on recruiting.

Its a good point Tfan, and I considered doing it again but the problem we ran into this last season was Kelly was fired from Temple and he had a winning season each of the first two, the bad part about being fired he wasnt able to take another head coaching job and the only jobs he was offered was either and OC or DC position, he accepted the OC position at K-state but it would let him do any of the off-season things......

I will put it to a vote---

Please respond if you WANT TO HAVE coaching Contracts, DO NOT want coaching Contracts, OR it doesnt matter?

Iven been the OC in the 24 hour dynasty and i was able to recruit, set depth chart for my offense, etc.

maybe we could do this. if someone gets fired, they can take whats offered OR retire form the dynasty and come back in as HC of the same team. They lose prestige points since they are brand new but can go back ot their same team....
