NCAA Not Loading Properly?

i've been having trouble with the game freezing after choosing teams and waiting to play. it stays on the coach tip screen forever with the loading circle spinning. i had it happen a few times at the end of last season, and it's hit or miss now. currently it's doing it as a try to practice. would this have anything to do with loading a playbook? all of this seems to have happened after the last gameplay tuning update. pondering deleting it and then trying it again.

also, any reason why my ps3, which is hard wired to my router, would only be pulling 4-5K on my internet speed while my laptop across the house is pulling 7 running over wireless? connection test works well, nat 2, just slow. any ideas?

tried that. disk seems to be fine.

just to add, i logged into my son's offline account and things load properly. i deleted the last game tuning update and reinstalled it. i deleted my roster file. it was still happening on my login.

so here's what i did to make it work. i logged out of mine and into his and started a game. then i quit the game and went back into mine. voila, it works.
