So if Arkansas beats LSU they play for the NC if Bama beats auburn. If LSU wins and Bama beats Auburn they play for the NC.

What happens if ARK wins, Bama loses and UGA beats ARK? Or in the ARK W, Bama W scenario if UGA beats BAMA/ARK does LSU play Bama/ARK and UGA get left out as Conf Champ since 1 & 2 have preference and you can't have 3 teams?

Ark > LSU, AUB > Bama, UGA >ARK, is the NC LSU vs Stan/VT/OKST? assuming those teams win?

Heck we have to think of the possibility of a Boise St/Houston NC game. Yeah I said it. A lot of things have to happen just right. And we would have th see IF the human voters would take a 1 loss Arkansas/LSU or even a 2 loss team over a 1 loss Boise St or undefeated Houston. But it all depends what happens with the Ark/LSU game.

And what I mean by this is what if Ark beats LSU, Bama loses to Auburn. Then Ark loses the SEC champ game to UGA. Along with Stanford , OkSt , and VaTech losing a second game.

I can't get over how stupid Boise State must feel right now. This was their chance. With a second big win (Texas Christian) and their not-so-bad opponents (Toledo, Tulsa, Nevada, and San Diego State) winning and winning, they might have been a solid number two as they were only .035 behind Alabama a week ago. Amazing how things worked out for them. As for the BCS title game possibilities, I have an interesting thought and it pretty much ends any support I have for the BCS even as I remained one of the lone holdouts.

Assuming Alabama defeats Auburn and doesn't do it in a way where some voters might bounce Arkansas and Virginia Tech ahead of them in their poll (or the computers for that matter), then Louisiana State will have to win the SEC Championship game simply to get themselves the opportunity for a rematch against Alabama; who would presumably be in so long they beat Auburn. Crazy, right? Well, it gets worse. There is a possibility neither Alabama nor Louisiana State could play in the SEC title game and both of them could be on their way to Glendale. If I had to come up with five likely scenarios for what I think would happen; that would be number ... two. TWO!

In order ...

1. LSU beats Arkansas and Georgia. Alabama wins a moderately tough one against Auburn and clinches a berth in the title game before LSU even steps on the field against Georgia: LSU v. Alabama in Glendale

2. LSU loses to Arkansas. The tiebreaker for the West would come down to BCS positioning and you could assume Alabama and Arkansas would split the human and computer polls, making it possible for the BCS to go Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana State. If Arkansas then loses to Georgia, Alabama would move up to #1 and Louisiana State #2. The only hope would be for Virginia Tech to massacre Virginia and Clemson. Oklahoma State won't get past #3 no matter what and Stanford needs Oregon to choke vs Oregon State and then beat, LOL, UCLA/Arizona State/Utah by 100. Not happening.

3. LSU beats Arkansas but somehow manages to lose to Georgia. I don't think Oklahoma State has a chance, but Virginia Tech and Stanford do. Let's say Stanford beats Notre Dame and no PAC-12 title game; Oregon goes. LSU's loss to Georgia eliminates them; they will fall. Alabama is in, LSU is out, Georgia is obviously out despite winning the fucking conference, and Virginia Tech and Stanford have a popularity contest to see who gets in.

The only hitch is if I am underestimating Oklahoma State's positioning. Either way, I am out. This is too retarded even for me. Give me anything but this nonsense.

I always said that the top 3 in the SEC are better than the top 3 in any other conference. The rest of the SEC is still shit until proven otherwise. Until Georgia-Georgia Tech and South Carolina-Clemson, those teams have done nothing except beat weak FBS/FCS teams and lower tier SEC teams.

Every year 10 of 12 SEC teams will have this schedule. 8 SEC games, 1 FCS school, 1 Sun Belt, 1 other lower tier MAC/C-USA team, 1 BCS school.

In reality, the SEC didn't do too bad scheduling this year in terms of OOC. Your usual dodgers (Florida and Mississippi State) did, but other than that, a lot of them scheduled some good games. I would love it if every conference went to a 9 conference schedule like the Pac 12 does and the Big 10 will.

I don't want much. Schedule 1 big OOC game a year. 1 mediocre "losable" game like ECU or UCLA or some low tier BCS team. Then schedule two cupcakes. Instead they like next year when EVERY SEC TEAM does 1 mediocre team and 3 cupcakes. Seriously, look at the schedules for next year for the SEC, they will all say how great they are when no one is playing anyone OOC.

Ill speak about Bama since I know them pretty well, They play on avg 4 possibly 5 ranked teams a year with 1 of those being OOC. Bama this year played 3 consecutive games, 2 of which were on the road vs top 20 teams and 2 of thoses were top 15 and the other was penn st who will probably play for the big 10 championship. Bama has Mich next year and will play Mich St and Ga Tech in the up coming years. I do agree Most sec teams schedule 1 big game and 3 cup cakes but year in and year out almost all SEC teams have a top 50 SOS due to the SEC schedule. You brushed the entire SEC with a broad stroke but SEC teams are playing Mich,FSU,Texas,Clemson,GA Tech all OOC next year along with the addition of TAMU and Mizzou.

Big 12 outside of Texas usually is pretty good at good OOC schedules.

The Pac 12 plays a 9 game schedule so that means 1 more game vs a BCS school, plus all of them nearly schedule another BCS school on top of that. Also the Pac 12 doesn't always play FCS schools (some never do).

If the SEC played a 9 game schedule, which they should, then itd be a lot better. They could schedule 1 BCS OOC game and it'd be a more stable schedule.
