Watching sports on PS3

Well the IU-Ball State game isn't being shown on the Big Ten Network because Ball State are a bunch of faggots. I don't really want to move my whole computer so I can hook it up to my TV and watch the game on ESPN3. Is there any other way to stream games through the PS3?

Get yourself a slingbox.
Hook it up to a box in your house in like a bedroom or something that is not watched by anyone else when you typically want it and then watch it on your ipad, smartphone or laptop.

You then have a portable television.

But without buying a sports package like the MLB package through the PS3, which I am not even sure they offer, I do not know of any other way through the PS3.
