playing with weather and night games
I guess this only works with the home teams real time and current conditions. Anyway, before going to the online lobby go to "play now" like you are going to play an exhibition against the cpu. Make sure you are the home team that you will be using in your game, and advance past uniform and playbook options and select "ready". At the game options screen, go to the Weather Channel live feed and change it to manual then back to live. Back out of the exhibition by pressing the circle and go to the online lobby. Invite your opponent and when the game starts you'll be playing in the current conditons of the home team.

Re: playing with weather and night games
so if mike is Miami and he's playing from Boston in December it'll be a blizzard in Miami?

No. You will be playing in Miami so it will probably be around 70. If he were Michigan it would probably be snowing.DRiccio21 wrote:so if mike is Miami and he's playing from Boston in December it'll be a blizzard in Miami?

Re: playing with weather and night games
I played a game against outlaw and it was a little before 7pm in Tallahassee. The game started out at dusk and by the end of the game it was full dark with the lights on. Pretty cool. There was a 2 mph wind also. Antdogg told me he's played a couple in the early hours and the sun came up during the game.

We need to make this mandatory for NDL season.

Re: playing with weather and night games
Granted I have been too lazy to download rosters for the last 3 years, this seems like it would be tough to implement for some. Luckily, I will hopefully re-draft Tulane, so I will get a dome team and not have to worry about this. Then all away games with weather, so I will still get the positive of it.

Re: playing with weather and night games
Played a game this morning where it was overcast & pouring rain then played a home game a few hours later, where the rain had stopped.
I checked the weather report and it had indeed did the same thing in Blacksburg. I'm in love

Re: playing with weather and night games
Are people getting into the habit of challenging games like this?
Will be sweet
