Re: is the PSN network down?
Infamous and Wipeout are solid. I can't put Infamous down.

Like you said, its repetitive. But the new powers you develop throughout the game keep it interesting. The demo for InFamous 2 is really good imo. Controls are a little more touchy, but your character moves faster and the new hover is much improved.BIGmike wrote:Infamous and Wipeout are solid. I can't put Infamous down.

The free games they are giving you, you can keep forever.nick wrote:Doesnt matter, moment playstation plus ends you cant use them anymore. waste of time.
As far as the discounted items, this is not true. I was going to buy the Sonic as it is free on the Playstation Plus right now and I was just reading the terms and it stated that once your membership is cancelled, you cannot use them anymore.LetsGoPeay wrote:Anything you buy at a discount with the Playstation Plus membership is yours to keep forever as well.
Did I read something wrong?

If you paid any amount for the game, its yours to keep forever. the only games that expire are the free games through ps+.sixpackdan101 wrote:Any discounted items that cost you money you get to keep.The_Niddler wrote:The free games they are giving you, you can keep forever.nick wrote:Doesnt matter, moment playstation plus ends you cant use them anymore. waste of time.

I got 4 out of 5 so far. I used one of my other PSN ID's that I had already. LMAO...I don't want Wipeout, already got it free with PS+ when I first signed up.

Re: is the PSN network down?
There were some comments in this thread about cross-game chat. Below is the official answer...
Cross-game voice chat is not possible on the PlayStation 3 because of memory restrictions, Sony has revealed.
"Once a game gets RAM we never give it back," he said. "It's not possible to retrofit something like that after the fact."
"The game has to use its own memory to do [in-game voice chat]. There's always voice chat in the game. But it's a part of a game feature. It's not a part of an OS feature. That's the reason in terms of the ability to have voice chat across different games."

Why don't game systems have RAM amounts comparable to PCs?
