What really sucks is that, early this week, my ps3 hard drive froze on me. I called in for tech support and they had me go into some submenu through holding the power button. I ended up having to restore to factory settings and, as I hadn't backed up, I lost EVERYTHING.

And now that the PSN is back up, I can get game software updates...but I can't re-download in-game content until the store is back up--meaning no BLOPS maps and no FIFA ultimate team. I'm also worried that my EA titles will make me repurchase an online code :-/ anybody know how that works, will it still recognize my original code for this system?

Could've been worse....

It just wouldn't do anything after I turned it on; the yellow hard drive light just froze and nothing came on the screen; I was able to get my disc out.

First they had me restore system files; then they had me do an option that told me "the hard disc cannot be accessed". They told me I'd need to send it in and have it repaired, but I tried the "restore to factory settings" option as a last resort, and it worked....just pisses me off because I was going to use the free PS+ trial to back everything up onto the cloud, too bad it only happened a week too late :(

That said, I could've been out a PS3 for three or more weeks, and been out $100, so I'm thankful I only lost five years' worth of saves.

It did that to me for about an hour; I just kept trying and it finally let me in.

I mean, I signed up with an email account that doesn't even exist lol and I'm back on...
