I finished Red Dead as well and hated the ending.LetsGoPeay wrote:I've finished Red Dead Redemption and have watched the entire first season of Mad Men since the PSN has been down. I'm not complaining about it being down because I really don't feel like I'm an online gaming addict or anything, but I'd like to play some Black Ops.
Re: is the PSN network down?
I still need to finish it. Might bust it out this afternoon after Oaks is over.

Re: is the PSN network down?
I've vaguely kept up with mmo-champions videos/updates, so I've heard about some of the issues. I gave away 120k and my paladin a few months ago and was messing around on my Shaman/Rogue/Hunter during the last week. So I'm not really going to be playing the AH game, farming or crafting. It'll be mostly BGs. Going from playing a console, back to all of the keybinds and variety of abilities for each class has been a bit of a shock. I don't think I'll play serious enough to make a run @ glad or get involved in any raiding beyond some basic 10 man stuff. I like NBA 2k way too much. But this is something to do to kill time.trendon wrote:You missed the fun of the rollout of Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman. It was a fucking mess. Patch came up at 11 AM and I was in an hour later. My meter recorded 31 deaths and over 50 people recorded damage ... over four hours.ReignOnU wrote:I spent more time beating on a target dummy and just trying to relearn some mechanics than anything else. I think I have over 20 keybinds, most with ctrl/alt/shift modifiers... when you don't play for awhile, you forget how much crap there is to maintain.trendon wrote:For the Alliance!

I didnt intend anyone to actually believe it but I guess the timing was right and Trendon had a little chubby for some online play and ran with it.
I hope he still loves me.

As long it is up by mid July, I will be happy!

Trendon is the last guy I would expect to post PSN was up without checking.

Re: is the PSN network down?
That's due to the incentive for queueing as an 'in need' role. (Tank/Healer) All of the plate got tired of sitting in queue for 40min, so they throw on a shield with their DPS gear and queue as tank. I've seen a few that were so stupid that they didn't even have the taunt/snap aggro ability on their bars. (had to stop to tell them to use it and what it was)trendon wrote:Some of the tanks out there are nuts. Not too long ago, I (rogue) kept getting aggro. Tank was shit. He then tells me it is my fault because I am doing too much damage. Ruh?
I feel badly for healers.
I blame Blizzard for part of it and blame the player base for the other. Tanks are expected to A.) hold aggro, B.) set the pace, C.) mark everything... so a lot of the good tanks just got tired of tards and stopped queueing once they had enough gear to move on to raid content.
I've got an 81 Warrior that hit 81, solely from farming mats. I have no intention to move him up via tanking in dungeons. And my pally, before I gave him away, leveled ret for questing and holy in dungeons. Again, no way in hell I was going to tank.

Surprised it worked as well.
Thought maybe Hoos would have Mr. Mittens check and confirm and then chat via Facetime from their iPads and then say "no it isnt but I didnt check, loser".
But Trendon, Its a proud day for the Krentsa name.

We will be offering PSN users the opportunity to select two PS3 games from a list of five, as well as offering PSP users the opportunity to choose two games from a list of four.

One of them might be InFamous. With the 2nd one coming it's a good time to increase interest.
