COD5 - "I got it" thread

I have to say, this one is much more fast paced compared to COD 4, as you are getting hit from all directions. And since some of the guns are prehistoric, you have to practice with all of them to find your niche. I use the Type 100 with stopping power, deep impact, but it does not have the reach.....only close quarters. But man, that gun is sweet. The Springfield with the scope is starting to be a nice sniper rifle with stopping power and deep impact, but if you slightly miss, it takes a long time to reload. I tried the other two bolt action rifles, and they suck in my opinion. The DP-28 is a nice Russian machine gun, but takes a long time to reload if you do not have the fast reload perk. All in all, this game is sweet. I love the wide open maps, and the Saving Private Ryan sniper towers.

You bring up one reason I'm starting to like this better then cod4, I dont think any of the weapons right now are great, they all have a couple of things good but a couple of real drawbacks. There isnt a M16 or RPD or anything right off the bat to really roll with. I'm starting to like the older weapons but they defintily take some getting used to.

it will be interesting to see how many of these homos who think they are superstar's rank up and have to go back to crappy guns over and over

level 37, you get the STG-44...it is by far my favorite gun so far, it is probably equivalent to the AK-47 from COD4

This game is badass!!! Problem is, I got it on 360 since thats where all my "real-life" buddies play but if enough of you peckerheads play, i'll get the PS3 version too.

Servers kind of sucked last night. It was like back in CoD4 when the game would shit itself before it even started.

I'm sensing less community enthusiasm in comparison to CoD4, but it is still fun.

Definitely looking forward to something besides team deathmatch now that I've got the rest of the game types unlocked.

That STG-44 is nice...I kept killing this guy last night that had it and kept picking it up. I'll have to give the MP-40 a try though...the Thompson has been effective, but it jumps around too much when you shoot.

I was wavering on whether or not to get this game...but seeing there is an opportunity to shoot up tat put me over the edge. Will be picking it up in the next day or two.
