ESPN was saying that Washington will probably have a walk away clause in the contract to allow them to drop Donovan before the majority of the guaranteed money part hits. Did not make sense to me, but they said it will likely be guaranteed if the team picks up the option

I'd also wager a large sum of money that he doesn't play for 5 years. This just appears to be a way to show that they're confident in him as their QB. Like it or not, there aren't any other options right now, nor is there a young guy backing him up. If they want to make the playoffs this year, its going to take a fully-confident, organization-backed, McNabb (and a miracle lol) so this was a good time to re-illustrate that confidence. He'll probably shift towards more of a mentorship role if we ever draft a young QB in the next few years (albeit a very expensive mentor).

Right, but a lot of people are freaking out saying that they shouldn't have signed him for that long, I was just agreeing with you

I have Vick, Maclin, and Philly's defense on my fantasy team. I needed 120 points to come back and win. He has Santana Moss.

Vick already has me 69 points

Custom league my old HS teacher runs. QBs get PPC and get bonus points when they reach 350 and 400 yds passing.

TD's are also worth 10 points, INTs are -5

It's a QB-dominated league. Scores are usually between 250-350 points.

aparently the McNabb deal is not that impactful at all. if they cut him after this season they only owe him like 4 mil from the signing bonus and an incentive for finishing this year.

The Eagles look like the best team in the NFL. Defense is shaky at times.......but Asante will show up in the playoffs.

Vick looks like he has only gotten better since he was in Atlanta. Its like a track meet out there with him Jackson, and McCoy.

weird that they put the Browns part 1 with the Browns part 2 and not Browns 1 with the Ravens. Yet once Tennessee moved, they still get the oilers stats and not given to the team from Houston now

Presumably because they became a second franchise unlike the Rams, Oilers, and Cardinals.
