ahh Cleveland fans in denial. They will be crying for James after 3 games.

I love that no one cares up here that Bosh left. We're gonna suck and suck something fierce but this is suppose to be a solid draft and we'll be picking top 10

If they get to 35, I'd be surprised. Just my take.
i got em in the high 20's for the record.

I got that line as well for the Heat +1 as well yesterday afternoon and jumped right on it.

Wanna put a wager on that?

I don't bet, but just watch. I know it was the pre-season, but they are looking good so far without some of their main guys. I will feel a lot better with my predicition if we were in the west. Not as strong as the East this year, but I will stick to my prediction

If you believe that the east is better then the west top to bottom then you definitely don't pay attention to basketball. The west might not be as strong as they have been in seasons past, but the west bad teams I would wager or considerable better then the east bad teams.. and it will still take a min 48 wins to make the west playoffs,, whereas I believe 4o wins will get you in the east playoffs..

I don't think the Heat could be possibly play any worse right now.

There 1st quarter point total was lower than any last year, lol.

Lower 1st quarter and lower 1st half total than in any game all last year.

Nuts.

i think alot is rust but they have a major issue.

they simply can't play a pg with lebron and wade on the floor together.

they also have no inside threat.

they need to play a lineup of:

Lebron
Shooter
Wade
Haslem or Bosh
Z or Anthony

its gonna take a while offensively but they are gonna win alot of games simply cause of their defense

Their d will be one of the tops in the league but they haven't played together or even practiced much with wade hurt and not in camp.

They desperately need a shooter more than a big man right now. Arroyo and house aren't the answer. Miller can't come back soon enough and if chalmers still develops a little more he could help.

Riley might come outta the tunnel and take over at half time.

They need to run, run, run. They aren't big enough and don't have shooters for the half court game.

agree. Lebron and Wade are much better creating with the ball, and putting another non-shooter PG out there with them, its a wasted spot on the floor. Its going to take a while for them get a good system worked out where they can maximize the available players and get good baskets.

After watching that half, I don't think they are going to touch 70 wins. I could see them in the 55-60 range, which still should get them in the top 3 seeds in the east

Lebron took over that 3rd quarter and the D is continuing to play well.

This team will be deadly with a consistent shooter.

so i know alot of people will be down on them cause they are gonna lose but i actually like what i saw tonight.

i liked the way Spo rotated Wade and Lebron. They don't both need to be on the floor together all the time and he gave them each a rest and let the other guy go iso for a few minutes. then after that they both got to play together (right now they are rusty but eventually it'll be unstoppable with them both in.

I like that Spo realized that Chalmers and Arroyo are totally unneccessary

they need Lebron or Wade to start working downlow. i figured natually lebron would be that guy but i think they like him with the ball more then Wade so it looks like Wade will be that guy.

Bosh just played horrible tonight, not a big deal. I actually liked the looks he was getting and more importantly i liked the spacing and setup they had with the shooter being on Bosh's side in the corner most of the time.

Jones had a million open looks and didn't make enough of them... every night they'll play the hot hand whether its Jones, House or eventually miller.

the defense is already sick and will only get better

I agree with this, especially Bron. He did it a couple times and was easily able to pound to a good spot but missed easy gimmies.

They turned it around and I liked the 2nd half flow like you said with Bron or Wade benched.

With them both there was no half court set plays. It just looks like playground ball and no ball movement.

D is gonna be pretty bad ass but they also need to run more to exploit their quickness and speed over most teams since they lack size.

they dont have the chemistry yet together with them both on the floor but that will come with time.

the thing i'm more worried about is you can already see Lebron being MUCH more aggressive when its just him on the floor with Wade on the bench. He looked like he did on the Cavs when it was basically 1 on 5 all the time and he knew he had to be the fascilitator. When Wade came in he almost seemed to be hesitant and a little passive as if to make sure he gave Wade the touches. its gonna take time but the key will be that neither of them lose that killer instinct.

I think the way that'll ultimately happen is by one of them posting up and getting an iso that way
