Re: NFL Thread
Every time Peterson has broke off a good run this year (at least two or three times today) it seems like there has been a damn holding penalty.

Re: NFL Thread
Thank you Romo! Favre will probably return the favor though.

lol, I don't have to point out the painfully obvious irony in your statement..do I?trendon wrote:Stop it, you traitor!Bernie32 wrote:trendon wrote:TOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: NFL Thread
i am going to start arguing the Peyton is the best QB in the NFL with the same confidence i argue the Lebron is the best in the NBA
the dude is playing a totally different game then any other qb i watch on a weekly basis.
he's like when your zoned in during a game of NCAA, he just knows exactly what his reads are and exactly how much time he has EVERYTIME
also, washington defense needs to start faking some injuries or they are in a lot of trouble with this pace

HA. Trendon and I were just arguing this. I also believe Peyton is the best QB ever. The dude is a technician.

This year there really is ZERO arguing this point. He's been on a completely different level than the other QBs, no doubt.DRiccio21 wrote:i am going to start arguing the Peyton is the best QB in the NFL with the same confidence i argue the Lebron is the best in the NBA

Re: NFL Thread
Yet, there seems to be someone else leading the NFL in QB rating, Defense-adjusted Value Over Average, Value Over Average, and is 4-1.
Ho hum.

Hey, who's the guy who said QB ratings mean NOTHING when I pointed out QB ratings favoring Brees over Brady?trendon wrote:Yet, there seems to be someone else leading the NFL in QB rating
Re: NFL Thread
I did. I even said that to your earlier (or yesterday). Other people like it, though. Just like I'll mention wins when talking about pitchers.shel311 wrote:Hey, who's the guy who said QB ratings mean NOTHING when I pointed out QB ratings favoring Brees over Brady?trendon wrote:Yet, there seems to be someone else leading the NFL in QB rating

At least you admit you like to pick and choose stats, lol.trendon wrote:I did. I even said that to your earlier (or yesterday). Other people like it, though. Oh and other than Vick who hasn't taken many snaps, Manning IS leading the league in QB rating.

Re: NFL Thread
You skipped the other two stats! You are the absolute WORST at picking and choosing, sir!
And, christ, Brady WAS the leader. One TD and two INTs go a long way, huh? Fucking Baltimore. Well, next week should be fun. Both Brady and Rivers play each other and Brady always shits on the Chargers and the Pats can't stop the pass!!!

Re: NFL Thread
Rivers may struggle if the guys catching it keep dropping. Gates left the game in a boot today, already doubtful for next weekend. That puts Jackson, Nanee, and now Gates out. As well as Rivers has been passing the ball so far, he needs Jackson to come back and put a nice show on for people to want to come sign him for next season.trendon wrote:You skipped the other two stats! The entire exchange was about QB rating ONLY. You didn't mention any other "two stats" in our 3 post exchange.
Weirdo.
Oh, and there isn't even as to who is worse at picking and choosing stats. I've busted you doing it probably 3 or 4 times now.

Re: NFL Thread
You know what's odd? The two teams Brady has the lowest QB rating and generally miserable stats against? Carolina and Detroit. Huh?

Re: NFL Thread
When did I EVER say I love QB Rating? Actually, I remember exactly where you started thinking I "love" QB rating. When I posted Brady's statline in his playoff game last year, it included among other stats, his QB rating. Since then, you've hinted that I LOVE QB rating for some reason.trendon wrote:Because I know how much you love completion percentage and QB rating.
I love completion% and yards per attempt.

Win in pitching...mean NOTHING. If you tell me that to my face you lose yours.
Trendon I seriously don't think you said wins matter in pitching. Tell me you didnt.

Re: NFL Thread
Wins in pitching are a HORRIBLE way of measuring a pitchers effectiveness. Wins mean nothing.LGF wrote:Win in pitching...mean NOTHING. If you tell me that to my face you lose yours.

unless of course you think Brett Cecil had a better year then Felix Hernandez
