FF Trade advice

Post by DRiccio21 »

my team now:

QB -- Big Ben & Stafford
RB -- J. Best, Kevin Smith
St. Jackson, K. Darby
Chris Johnson, J. Ringer
C. Williams
WR -- Marshall, Steve Smith (giants), Hines Ward
TE -- Witten and A. Hernandez
K -- Gould
D -- Chargers

first trade: i am going to give up St. Jackson, Steve Smith and Aaron Hernandez for A.P.

then i am considering trading A.P. and Hines Ward for Ray Rice, Roddy White and A. Collie

Do i:
a) keep my team how it is
b) stick with the lineup that will have A.P. and Ward (both past the bye)
c) make both deals and start a lineup with Rice and Roddy White (both have a bye coming up)

Your trading Ward with Ben coming back? Ward will start to shine as Ben's safety valve again. I would pull the trigger to get AP word here in minnesota they are going to lean more on AP due to Favre's elbow.

Ward is an after thought to me since i'd be replacing him with Roddy White

option c, you have enough depth to cover the byes... but a lineup of Rice and Johnson at HB, plus Marshall & White at WR with Witten at TE is sick, your only weakness being QB and Big Ben should be serviceable there

i actually wouldn't have depth anywhere, but i'd have a hell of a team provided i can make the playoffs

i would try to find a way not to deal AD after you get him, but if that's required to get Roddy White then maybe do it.

Think Collie will go down in production wit Garcon back and Gonzalez soon

if you can get AD aka All Day and you're not screwed at another position, i'd certainly keep him.

seems like a good situation, dave, while both my teams are 2-3 with some unbelievable monday night losses. Nick Folk with 5 FGs last week? Fml.

and Roddy White is playing out of his mind right now. You're buying him at his highest value. AP is the #1 guy this year as Foster is in the doghouse, and Rice is probably 5.

Ward was doing work without Ben, and that's his favorite guy now that Holmes is gone. I doubt Mike Wallace will take all of his catches.

I'd keep AP and CJ. That's terrifying.

And then if anything I'd deal CJ. Call me crazy but I see a bad year from him, like from here out, but that's just me.

k fantasy question, do I make this offer

Foster (me) for Gore (him)

I dont trust Foster. Dude is hurt and in the coaches doghouse it seems for missing meetings. Gore is a monster and I am looking towards the playoffs when Gore (15-16) have @ SD and @ St.Louis while Foster is @ Ten and @ Den.

ONLY problem is, it's a keeper league, so going forward is it worth it?

thanks

in regards to Dave's situation...

non-PPR league? Ward has nowhere near the numbers White has had yardage wise or TD wise the last two years, maybe Santonio being gone changes that. I will still take Rice, CJ, & White over AP, CJ, & Ward. I think the upgrade in White makes up for the downgrade in Rice.

to Nick's question..

Arian Foster? I would go Gore over him only because I don't think Foster has had enough time yet to get a true judge of his value. If you want to gamble or think he's going to be the real deal, it's a wash then and maybe go with younger or whose system you think will be a better fit. Houston has gone through backs like crazy the last 3 seasons, maybe he stabilizes them or maybe he's the next Slaton.
