I'm hoping to hook up with the NDL'ers this time around, I only had 2 or 3 friends on PS3 so never really got in good games on COD4 always a mixed bag of teammates. I ordered on Best Buy.com and chose in store pick up so hopefully they will have it Tuesday!!!

ajalves, I think you are on my list...I got on Socom yesterday for a few hours and loved it, other times I hate it.

I think Arcade style like COD is more to my liking. I don't have time to play enough Socom to get good.

I will see you guys on COD 5................PS3 purchase. I was leaning towards the 360, but listening to Oldschoola say "fucking Rain on COD 4!" makes the new installment on the PS3 worth the excitement!

Im just hoping for no opening night failures that seem so common with these shooter games and their servers.

Resistance 2 does
rfom did
COD 4 did
Halo 3 did
gta did
Socom does
list goes on and on

dang, im half tempted to wait on the opening day hiccups of the sevres as its ALWAYS a nighmare with shooter games.

Its like they dont actually expect anyone to buy and play the games online

That being said, and not wanting to get lost behind the curve like COD4, looks like I'll be picking it up today at 5
