Win goal when you have a .5 in it
When you have a win goal of say 6.5 (7.5 before the minus 1), that number is always rounded up
That was one of the reasons behind the minus 1 implementation.
So a "raw" win goal of 7.5 is 7. (7.5-1=6.5, rounded up to a 7)
7.0 is 6 (7.0-1=6 )
6.5 is 6 (6.5-1=5.5, rounded up to a 6)
6.0 is 5
5.5 is 5
and etc

Current Win Goal: 9 Wins
Maximum Win Goal: 10 Wins
Minimum Win Goal: 1 Win
Calculated Win Goal: 8 Wins
So is my win goal 8, 9 or 10 wins?

Re: Win goal when you have a .5 in it
I am glad I am not the only person that wants this all explained.
With Toledo:
Current Win Goal: 6 Wins
Maximum Win Goal: 10 Wins
Minimum Win Goal: 1 Win
Calculated Win Goal: 5 Wins
So mine is 5 then?
And if it was 5.5 then it would be 6?
And why are the win goals not posted in our current contracts?
I thought they were last season?

And it was never posted because every season each team plays a different OOC schedule, which will change the win goals.

How is the OOC figured in then...
Just curious.
And since I have my OOC games scheduled, does it automatically adjust my win goal based on the opponents I chose?
Sorry guys, my first full season, so just trying to understand it all.

yes, if you go to your current schedule page, it should have your confirmed OOC games put in, and adjust your win goal with those games accounted for

I changed the wording on the current schedule page to hopefully clear up the confusion

It would be hard to believe if it was posted this morning but the fact that it was last night is very impressive.

My plan is to win all of my games from here on out so I don't have to worry about any of this.

Re: Win goal when you have a .5 in it

Which win goal is what?
The coaching contract for all teams in the conference information threads states, "Overall Win Goal - 40 Points"
Example of a contract on the NDL2 site is as follows:
NDL2 site dictates, "Unaltered Win Goal: 3 Wins" and "Contract Win Goal: 2 Wins"
So, which win goal gets the coach the 40 points? (Overall Win Goal)
I am curious to know the answer to this question....please clarify.

Last season I went 5-7 and contract WG was 4.5, which rounds to 5. Received zero points for that. Maybe you're wrong? Maybe I'm nuts?
Re: Win goal when you have a .5 in it
you have to realize that 40 points for overall win goal inside your teams contract is a fraction of an overall score. You add that along with the other points you can obtain for your team i.e. road wins, rivalry wins, beating a ranked team while unranked etc. All of those get added up then divided and multiplied and so on and so forth to give you your score for that specific area. It is all explained on the points page if you read the entire thing it breaks it down but it's to late and I don't feel like getting that technical lol.swellvermin wrote:If thats the case then I got jipped out of some points.DRWebs wrote:swellvermin wrote:![]()
