$1,000 Scholarship to the University of Toledo.

So at the last Red Wings home game of last season I was entered in a promotion and won a prize of a small scholarship to Toledo. I tried selling it but no one was interested once we started talking dollar signs.

So now I'm just looking to give it away as I will not be using it and if you're a part of the NDL you're more than deserving of it for free.

If interested, let me know and I'll send out the form asap.

I graduated from Toledo, but I do have a sister that is still there. I will ask my parents, but i'm sure they would be willing to give you some money for it. Considering they are paying for her school now. Let me know. thanks

It would be great to know if it was valid for use with online classes. I have been gearing up to return to school and pursue a degree, this would be extremely beneficial to help get some of the early required credits.

That said, I would possibly be interested in you offer.

I have no idea if it's valid for online classes. All I received was a small form with an address on it. Im sure once it is filled out and sent in the Red Wings can provide more answers.

Im not really concerned about the money now, just as long as it's used.

I wouldn't turn any money down though, lol.

Well if you are serious about your offer, I would be very grateful to accept. I am a single dad with a fairly tight budget at the moment, so something like this would be a HUGE help in getting started with the new journey I am about to embark on.

My mom said she would give it a shot. She said to make sure you include your address because she will surely send you a check for something if she can save a grand on my sisters school. Thanks a lot in advance (that is if you decide on me).

Also, I just checked UT's site and in state tuition is almost 400 a credit hour. It would much cheaper to do online classes at a community college without the 1000 than it would to take a class online at UT with the 1000
