im going to have a heart attack......
Re: ***Official World Cup Talk Thread***
The diving in this competition doesn't bother me too much. The post-dive, writing-in-pain fakeness boils my blood, though.

My favorite player is Carlos Blackmouth. He looks like Richard from Lost.

The second goal wasn't Howard's fault. I got home just in time to see it
Almost every single fucking goal allowed by the USA in this tournament can be attributed to shitty ass defending lapses. Not once really was there a piece of individual skill that just broke down the back, it's almost all been due to someone not closing down, someone taking a bad angle, etc.
You will not win shit if you don't defend well as a unit.
And the Ghanians are getting on my fucking nerves with all this laying around bullshit. They need to be booked, this ref is just letting them nap in the middle of extra time.

Prime example--Gomez is being puleld down and the ref just let's him get away with it and doesn't book him.
And ANOTHER Ghana player goes down for no reason to waste time. This is getting old.

Re: ***Official World Cup Talk Thread***
I lay this at Bradley's feet.
He went back to Clark despite Edu's great play.
He keeps leaving out Feilhaber despite his great passing and creativity, something the side clearly lacks.
He keeps going to Findley despite him doing NOTHING in his three matches played, Buddle's terrific scoring form, and Gomez' great match the other day.
And then starting Clark and having to swap him out that early for Edu, it truly cost him in extra time.
Great showing in regards to never giving up, but such a disappointment with what could have been had Bradley simply made a better selection in his starting XI.

Yea, that was puzzling change. Specially when he took him out in the first half. Could have used fresh legs in the extra time.

Reluctantly turning on PS3.
Yeah, at least I can keep taking the USA deep into tournaments on FWC10.
And Findley never sees the fucking pitch. He had so many chances this WC and wasted them all. But hey, to hell with playing Buddle who scored twice against Australia, let's keep playing the guy who can run and can't finish, right?
