NFL Sunday
So who we got???
I already put some cash on the Saints today and like them in their matchup against the Vikes.
I am not touching the Jets game and that line. I just have this weird feeling about the Jets.
I think the Colts will win it but if the Jets can get Peyton flustered by controlling the clock and then making some plays on D, it could get interesting.
Saints 31
Vikes 24
Colts 24
Jets 17
Man football is going to be missed. Yesterday was one of the most depressing TV days in a LONG time.
Who ya got?

Mornin' Cory-
These two games are pretty tough when you look at 'em
MINN/NO- Minny seems pretty loose and NO looks to be on a mission. Looks to me that NO has more weapons on offense- QBs are even. The X-factor is will the Minny front 4 get pressure on Brees and will the stop whatever running game NO will throw at them. The answer is: Yes, but not for the whole game...Gimme New Orleans
IND/NYJ- Typical "David vs. Goliath"- Can anyone beat Peyton Manning- that's what stopping the Indy O comes down to.....I haven't seen anyone do it yet. I think Indy might get up early on the Jets and the Jets settle for how far they have gotten this year- and try to make it respectable. But Indy should't trail much if any in this one...Gimme Indy
Enjoy the games everyone....we only have 1 more week after this.

Re: NFL Sunday
A Saints-Colts Super Bowl would be AWESOME.
A Vikings-Colts would be awesome as well but just a little less awesome.
If the Jets win this one, it may go down as one of the biggest upsets ever??

Re: NFL Sunday
INDY defense will stop the JETS running game and eventually force Sanchez into mistakes. The final score won't really show that it was a tightly played game. INDY 27 Jets 10
As for Minny-NO...wow, what a barn burner this one could be...i have no idea..id say last possession wins.

I think you'd need a defensive score to get that high, honestly.packsyD22 wrote:If Indy scores more than 21 on the Jets Ill be fucking shocked.
I like the Jets, but anything over a possession is a sucker bet, IMO.
I think i'm going to play the UNDER because that's the only way the Jets win, and I think the Colts could repeat last week

Re: NFL Sunday
Colts will stop the Jets, Manning and Wayne vs Jets defense, are you serious?
Pressure will cook the Saints, and Vikings win it late.

Re: NFL Sunday
they are only 8.5 point underdogs, so a big upset, but not nearly anything like thatCnasty wrote: If the Jets win this one, it may go down as one of the biggest upsets ever??
i was on the Jets all week, but i cant take a rookie QB on the road in that atmosphere against perhaps the greatest qb of all time... just not happening, if i'm wrong then so be it.

Re: NFL Sunday
Peyton Manning has a career QB rating of 106 vs Rex Ryan defenses.
I don't care who wins, cause all 4 of these teams could be combo'd to make a solid super bowl.
but i'll guess.
Indy 24 - New York 17
Minnesota 35 - New Orleans 31

Re: NFL Sunday
And this is why I think it will be one of the biggest upsets of all time. Especially with the Colts running through the regular season like they did and the rook against Manning.DRiccio21 wrote:Cnasty wrote:i was on the Jets all week, but i cant take a rookie QB on the road in that atmosphere against perhaps the greatest qb of all time... just not happening, if i'm wrong then so be it.
Not saying its the Jets-Colts back in the day, but one of the bigger upsets of our lifetime if it happens with whats on the line.
Still dont think it happens, so its a moot point.

Love the play calling by the Jets. Mixing it up on first down and tossing in a pass. They are going to need TDs to win though and not settle for 3.
Re: NFL Sunday
Whatever happened to Mike Nugent?
