Good Points VVV, Ill add my 2 cents and move on.

*Mcelory is not a stud. Great thing is, Bama doesnt need him to be. He just has to play within the game. Dont do too much, take whats there to keep the defense honest enough to allow Ingram and Richardson to not face 8 man fronts all game. One game all year where Bama had to rely on Greg Mac and that was AU and he came through. The guy had 1 bad game this year and a couple of blah games where he didnt do anything but didnt get us beat, that Is all the Tide needs from him

*Bama's offensive formations, the wildcat stuff you will see a few times, if it works, you will see it more, if it doesnt, it will go away. The pistol is the main set and has been great for ingram and co. Bama's running out of the pistol has not in any way shape or form hurt their offense.

*Hate to tell ya, but Bama sees Sergio Kindle every week, Bama had to play more top 15 defenses every week with studs somewhere on the field, Texas defense will in no way scare Bama because they have played tough defenses all year ( USC,UT,FL,OM,LSU etc....)

*Cody is not Suh, but that is comparing apples to oranges. Cody is not asked to "make" plays he is asked to "create" plays, Force the double team, push the line so Ro can get in their and make the play. Suh makes the plays but Cody presences is what the Tide needs, him just to push the middle, disrupt the running game enough for the LB's to make the plays.

Everything else is pretty good stuff and are major keys to Texas being successful, Have a great time at the game.

The problem with Cody is that he doesn't have anywhere near the dominating name that Suh does. I personally can't wait for Berman to butcher it on Sportcenter.

Now, I 'm stuck with seeing Jordan Jefferson run at least 2-3 options to the short side of the field EVERY game when I remember that play gain more than 2 yards ONCE in 13 games this year.

Texas must stay committed to their run game. I know they do not have much of one, but think about this... UF averaged more yards per carry than Bama in the SEC title game... However, the UF RB's only had 4 total carries... If Texas is to have a chance they must stay committed to the run. Tenneesse stayed committed to the run and nearly won...

All that being said I like Bama to win 27-23

The one thing that concerns me is ever since last years SEC title game Bama has had one mission get back and beat UF... They did that, but they have one more game. Texas was the team that felt slighted last year.. remember they beat OU, their mission was to win the NC. It will be fun!!

But that might not be a good sign for them...also thought Oregon, TCU and GTech would win in the BCS games...did get Florida right, so hopefully the SEC will take this as well

One of the more "quiet" BCS championship games we have had.

No MAJOR underdog.

Since thats the case, they usually end up being the best. I hope Texas can hang and dont come out like TCU all scared and going against every game plan they have used all season.

I think one of the big keys for bama is to tackle in space. McCoy will get the ball out quickly in this game and it is up to Alabama's secondary and LB's to make plays, which they are more than capable of doing.

Alabama's offense needs to stay diversified and keep Texas guessing. I believe that was one of the main reasons they dominated Florida's defense.
