OK, we have advanced to championship week. I have a gam ein the Big 12 championship and Cnotes has a game in the MAC Championship. If we can get both in by tomorrow night I will advance to bowl week. How do you all want to handle things with the holidays?

Kent St came to play in the MAC Championship. They beat Ball St. 33-0 at Ford Field. They finish the season at 11-2 and have nearly all starters returning. Watch out for the Golden Flash in the 2011 season (or whatever season we are in). Coach cnotes is here to stay and is not interested in a move to a big school.

ok cool. I will get my game in tonight and we will then advance to the first week of user bowl games.

I will post which users play in which week so we can try and plan how we want to roll through the holidays. I think if people get done, I will advance but if more time is needed, I will grant it. And then get a move into the off-season and try to figure out who is staying and changing schools.

As great of an idea as that is, I don't know how it will work. For starters, I have no clue who is even active anymore. Some people seem to never play and others pick and choose when they play. Then we have different time zones and stuff like that. We can try, but if one person can't be there, then we won't do that.

Yes, if you change teams it will be after the bowl games and before we start any of the off-season stuff. Once I can determine who is allowed to change and to what star level, I will post the teams that are available.

OK we have advanced to bowl week. Actually we have advanced to bowl week 2 because there were no user games for bowl week 1. We have 6 bowl games that involve users. With the holidays, I don't know when people will get done. The sooner we get done, the sooner we move. For now, I will set the deadline for Saturday night by midnight EST unless more time is required. Bowl week 3 is the NC game and so I will advance past that. Sunday will allow me to look and see who can switch teams and to what level.

Mizzou wins a shoutout with Houston. Blaine Gabbert goes out like a champ with 400 + yards passing 7 TDs and 0 INTS.

Its rumored that coach TFAN is looking for other opportunities despite a good year at Mizzou.

BTW...i cant find the how we determine what teams are going to be available post. Cause I want to be the replacement coach for Bobbie Bowden if they are available.

OK, starting a fresh thread here for the new game. An OD with a little bit of a twist...

Here's the deal: everyone starts off with a 1-star prestige team. You goal is to build up your team to the highest prestige possible, along the way you build up the recruiting and possibly get your team into a BCS conference to have a shot at the BCS national title. (now we can adjust conference online) This is the overall goal of this OD.
However, just in case you don't like your sub-par team, there are ways to move out of a bad situation by doing just enough to move up a prestige level with another team. If you have a coaching dream to take Texas all the way, you have to prove yourself by taking the lower prestige teams to their own conference glory to top 10 ranking. At the end of each season, every coach will be assessed and offered opportunities. Hopefully this encourages guys to stick with us for the entire year of this game.

Next step is the off-season (Players Leaving) I'm hoping that EA fixed the bug that caused you not to be able to talk guys into staying. Before I advance us to that step, I need to know if you plan on staying in your coaching position. Here's how things will work this first year:

*If your prestige went up to 2-stars, you may change teams to any other 2-star school that season
*If you completed the following:
-Winning record
-Won your conference/Won bowl game
then you may change teams to a 3-star program.

OK, I think I have all of this figured out. You can see what teams are available by going into the Conference Standings and you can search to see what teams are available. Please tell me what you decide by 10:30 PM EST on Monday. The sooner everyone tells me, the sooner we will move on. You can stay at your school if you choose. Also, you can select any school that is at or below your star level that you can choose from.
