Ask Brian Johnson while you're at it.

Urban Meyer checked himself into the hospital this morning. For dehydration.

I guess he and Tebow had one heck of a cry-fest last night.

Can you imagine if McCoy had waited one more second to throw that ball?

He'd be the biggest goat of all time. He'd make Leon Lett look like a knock-knock joke.

Why it wasnt a QB draw or HB dive to set the ball up in the middle of the field baffles me.
Lawrence likes it on the right hash.
So run it to the right.
It was a roll out to the right. McCoy was either going to throw it right or tuck it and get some yardage and put it on the right hash. Things just don't always work according to plan.

So line up in the I-formation like normal human beings for fucks sake and hand it off to the right. Football isn't rocket science.

I was just lettin' you know what their strategy was. I didn't think it was a good play-call at all.

I know, and I agree with you. I also feel like Trendon bitching about the lack of the I-formation. C'mon man!

I expected better coaching and decision making from Brown and McCoy.

Looking at their defensive stats I think this is going to be a better game than some of you think, well except BFiVL is being realistic. I looked up the top offensive teams seen how Texas and Alabama did against them.

Of the top 35 teams in total offense, 6 are from the Big XII and 4 are from the SEC. Both Texas and Alabama are included in the top 35, I went that far down to include Alabama that is why I didnt stop at 25. Both schools played each team in the top 35 from their respective conference.

average yards per game of offense for their opponent in parenthesis
Texas vs Texas Tech
414 total offense (462 ypg)
Texas vs Oklahoma
311 total offense (419 ypg)
Texas vs Missouri
173 total offense (417 ypg)
Texas vs Kansas
303 total offense (422 ypg)
Texas vs Texas A&M
562 total offense (465 ypg)

Alabama vs Arkansas
268 total offense (439 ypg)
Alabama vs Auburn
332 total offense (432 ypg)
Alabama vs Florida
335 total offense (442 ypg)

Each team held three of their opponents to under a 100 yards of their average yards per game. The two standout games are Texas vs Missouri and Alabama vs Arkansas. Both put on defensive clinics in those game.

And yes I am bored as a mother fucker right now. Damn do I hate NFL football.

Section 3. Reviewable Plays
Side Line, Goal Line, End Line
Article 1. Reviewable plays governed by a sideline, goal line or an end line include:
a. Scoring plays, including a runner in possession of a live ball breaking the plane of a goal line.
b. A pass ruled complete, incomplete or intercepted at a side line, goal line or an end line.
c. A runner or pass receiver ruled in or out of bounds.
d. Recovery of a loose ball in or out of bounds in the field of play or an end zone.
Passes
Article 2. Reviewable plays involving passes include:
a. A pass ruled complete, incomplete or intercepted anywhere in the field of play or an end zone.
b. A legal forward pass touched by an ineligible receiver.
c. A legal forward pass touched by a defensive player.
d. A fumble ruled on the part of a potential passer. (Note: If the on-field ruling is forward pass and the pass is incomplete, the play is not reviewable).
e. A forward pass or forward handing ruled when a runner is beyond the line of scrimmage.
f. A forward pass or forward handing ruled after a change of possession.
g. A pass ruled forward or backward when thrown from behind the line of scrimmage. (Exception: If the pass is ruled forward and is incomplete, the play is not reviewable).
Miscellaneous
Article 3. Miscellaneous reviewable plays include:
a. A runner judged to have been not down by rule. (Note: If a runner is ruled down, the play is not reviewable).
b. A runner's forward progress with respect to a first down.
c. Touching of any type kick by any player.
d. The number of players participating by either team during a live ball.
e. A scrimmage kicker beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball is kicked.
f. Clock adjustment when a ruling on the field is reversed.
g. A fumble recovery by a Team A player during fourth down or a try and before any change of possession.

There was no play call to be reversed thus the clock cannot be changed nor can it be reviewed in the first place to check on time left on game clock. per NCAA rules.

Will the refs or NCAA admit they made a mistake !

Georgie, the refs won't admit they made a mistake cause they didn't, lol.

Taken from here:

Limitations on Reviewable Plays ARTICLE 6. No other plays or officiating decisions are reviewable. However, the replay official may correct egregious errors, including those involving the game clock, whether or not a play is reviewable. This excludes fouls that are not specifically reviewable (Reviewable fouls: Rules 12-3-2-c and d and 12-3-5-a and 12-3-4-b).

I think the problem is, first, it's a really down year in the Big 12. And when Texas faced a really good D with great team speed in Nebraska, we saw what happened.

I think Bama's speed on D will do the same, negate Texas's quick passing game.

It's a big if, but if McElroy plays anywhere near like he did against UF, it'll be another Bama 3 TD victory.

We shall see.
