Re: Another F-up...apologies
I am apart of another site with some good players. I will put it out there cause some guys on there are tired of the lobby bs and want to play straight games.
They mainly play dynasties on there and their rules are not as strict. In fact when I first got there, they were using the run committ, now with some influence by me, they banned it!!!

Re: Another F-up...apologies
some guys seem real interested. I told him now is the time cause only 1 season left this season and if they get 1 farm season in, that might be enough cause I believe our biggest turnover would usually be between games.
They were surprised to know that there are 120 legit guys out there. I told them most been here since day 1 and were once lobbyist themselves. And that 90% do not play in the lobby. Hopefully get some new blood. The guys I have played over there seem legit enough to get a tryout. And some real good competition, a couple are football coaches that love the stratedy part of the game.

Re: Another F-up...apologies
SInce I'm the new guy, fresh from the farm, I'll go ahead and state what I've seen from the farm. There are a few guys that play pretty straight up, emphasis on FEW. The guy that got thrown out for the was ouncgametime. He's was up 35-0 at the half, scored again, THEN got two safeties somehow... so you can't even blame the safeties at that point. So yeah... The guy he was playing I'd scrimmaged with a lot, and he comes from a league where there's a built in cheese factory, so he used a lot of trickery in his game plans. Explains the record from last year at the farm.
But yeah... some of those guys stop caring like half way through the season, and it's depressing. BigMike had decided to use upper level teams because of the turnaround in the farm, people were coming in, getting stuck with air force, and not doing anything. So they'd get thrown right back out, or games would have to be simmed.
This year I played a guy that used aggressive for the entire first half. Pretty entertaining game actually, especially once I got him out of it. Then it was lights out. I won't touch any further on the subject as I'm sure that'll fuel an already big blaze... so I'll go ahead and shut up now.

When I was brand new at the fire dept, I had a guy with 20yrs on tell me that i was a rookie, to keep my mouth shut and eyes and ears open. Just remember what you learned in the farm....Sorocco88 wrote:SInce I'm the new guy, fresh from the farm, I'll go ahead and state what I've seen from the farm. Buckeye76, I knew there was a reason I liked you, beside being a Buckeye fan. When I was brand new at the fire dept, I had a guy with 20yrs on tell me that i was a rookie, to keep my mouth shut and eyes and ears open. Just remember what you learned in the farm....

I haven't been here as long as some of the other guys, but I have been fortunate to have been in the league for about six and half seasons, after coming up from the Farm league. It's been great being in the NDL.

Man, all this Farm shit makes me realize how thankful I should be for Hoos. He simply invited me; only good thing he's ever done.
