Week 1:

Lamar McPherson, Temple, brings home the first most coveted award in the NDL as he was a one man wrecking crew as he led the Owls over the Panthers during week one. He carried the ball 23 times for 146 yards and an amazing 6 touchdowns. He is a very deserving winner of this weeks award!
Week 2:

This week was a no brainer as Blaine Gabbert, Missouri, put up insane numbers as he threw the ball 26 times, connected on 21 of those passes for an amazing 598 yards and an unheard of 7 touchdowns on the game as the Tigers blew out the Wyoming Cowboys 52-17.

Week 1:

Keaton Berrien, UAB, even though I couldn't find a picture of this stud, he still brings home the award as his performance shows that he is a real man. He recorded 11 tackles on the game, 4 of which were for a loss and 2 that came via a sack. He also recorded one pass deflection and forced a fumble as he attempted to keep the Blazers in the game, but the Blue Devils escaped with the victory.
Week 2:

Phillip Dillard, Nebraska, led the black shirt defense in week two and for his efforts he brings home the player of the week honors. Dillard tallied 10 tackles on the game, 1 tackle for a loss coming on one sack. He also batted down one pass and forced a fumble as he led CornNation and the Huskers over the Sun Devils 27-24.

Although I hate to do this, I must award the first honors of the cheerleader of the week to my arch nemesis, the Florida International Panthers. As much as I debated about, it really was no contest as Vanessa, FIU, has all of the tools to bring home this honor and I think that you'll agree. The FIU faithful will not have anything to cheer about come the last week of the season, why don't we just sit back and enjoy the beauty that is gracing the Panther sideline, despite the fact that the Owls are the best directional school in Florida!
