nope that isnt what it means.....because otherwise I wouldnt have met my conference goals....i finished 3-5 in the conf and got my points....it is season .500 I talked to my commish and he confirmed it with the head guy....so dont tell me it is .500 in conf....

.500 in conf makes no since for a 3 ....3 win goal in conf...you play 8 games...you cant make .500 unless u win 4....so why not make it 4 wins...

please tell me it means .500 in conference....so i can really be mad.

If it says .500 in conference it means you have to go .500 or better in conference play.

see and I asked my commish who told me he talked with AJ and said that it was definately .500 for the season...if I would have known that it was conf goals...I would have scheduled one of my rivals....instead of scheduling pancakes....this is pretty bad....when commish's dont know shit. fuck it.

ya exactly....and guess what.....they are my points now...because 2 ppl fucked up...fuck it....im over it....hart I refused to sign my contract because i thought it was .500 in conf...and my commish told me it was season....why should I be mad? I ended up signing it because he told me it was .500 season and i scheduled differently...

Looks like its been covered but you guys know me and my penchant for stating the obvious and re-covering whats already been said in my own words specifically regarding something that is kinda "my baby"

as aj said, CONFERENCE goals are TOTALLY seperate from season win goals.

The reason someone could concievably have a conf win goal greater than their TOTAL season win goal is as follows.

CONFERENCE goals are STRICTLY related to how a team matches up with the rest of its conference.

if you are a mac team for example, with a team rated C-....there may be 1 team rated less than you, 5 teams EQUAL to you and 6 greater than you. (1,3,4 respectievly on this example teams schedule)

that team should be accountable for 2.5 conf wins

if they schedule all greater rated teams in their 4 non-conf games..their total win goal is still 2.5 AND they get the "minus one"

ALSO, depending on conference parity, a team like the above will get a "win 3 games or .375 or greater" in conference because there may only be 2 or 3 teams that even hit "B" ratings...none in the A, and 80% of the conf could be within a letter grade of the aformentioned team.

so in the above case you get a total win goal of 2, but a conf win goal of 3 (mostly due to conference parity/weakness)

Trust me, contracts arent randomly thrown together and alot of work goes into making them as fair as possible for each team.
