But I always get lost trying to add the win goals with the beating ranked teams, rival points, bowl points. I never seem to come out with the same score that I get on my points email.
Checking with Holmey on this.
I know the html form we use is pretty big. Not sure how well it can translate to emailable form. If its at all possible, Holmey will work out something
I'm a little confused on the win goals part. With Tulane, I had a win goal of only 1. I went 5-7 though and managed to complete my conference goals. Even so however, I still only got 80%. How big of a portion is beating your rival? I only have one rival, LSU; should such a large portion of my goal be dependant on beating LSU?

This is one of the reasons we make sure to post contracts before the 1st season of each leg.
Not all contracts are fair but they are what they are based on EA defined rivalries and a few obvious exceptions.
Tulane doesnt have any other rivals other than LSU in real life.
The "Rivalry section" is 30% for everyone...how that is divied up all depends on the team and how many real life rivalries

you can draft a team who has rivalries that fit that bill

If you really like Tulane, just stick with em for Seasons 17 and 18, and next year, Tulane no longer plays LSU. They discontinued the rivalry that they just started back up again, so Tulane won't play LSU, at least they won't in real life.

It is pointless to argue this...I more than anyone have argued until I am blue in the face about some of the contract goals...dont get me wrong Im not doing it to spark shit...but some contracts just dont make since...
For instance...
Hoopla University
Win Goal of 2
Conference goals:
Win 3 conference games
Make Bowl
Now how in anyones right mind...is someone who has a win goal of 2....going to win 3 conference games...and make a bowl? It truely is amazing how some of the contracts are set up....but do research before you draft a team and you wont have to deal with some of the more crappier contracts.

Heres what I am saying and it relates to my contract...
I schedule non conf...
texas tech
oklahoma
oklahoma st
my win goal is prob going to be around 2 or 3 overall...which is pretty close to what it was.
now...my conf goals are
Win 3 conference games
Go .500 for the season
Now...how in the world...am I gonna go .500 playing teams like those? so I had to alter my non conf...to teams I thought I could beat...just so I could make my .500 for the season...that really isnt a conference goal.
Im just saying if you expect someone to win 3 conf goals...which would be a record of 3-5 in conference...then how can you expect someone to go 3-1 in non conf against superior opponents. I think after the non conf scheduling is finished...those season goal should be re-evaluated.

your non conf has nothing to do with ur in conf. in fact, if u have "win 2 goal" ure really suppost to have 3 but that -1 is in affect and it was your choice to play those impossible teams non conf. but even without them, the system still thinks u can win 3 games.
if every goal was so simple, everyone would be like 120+. shit happens.
Umm...yes it does...going .500 in a season does have a DIRECT effect on my in conf goals...because that is a conf goal...going .500.
I mean...lets say this...
You have a tough schedule...
Your win goal is 2
going .500 in a season means you need 6 wins...you have to go triple your win goal to make a conference goal....im not saying that it should be easy...but make the conference goal...4 wins. I mean that is still doubling your win goal.
