Air Force- Week 1 The Academy boys head to sleepy Jacksonville State where this writer drank beer and chased women while attending the school. So many good memories…Anyway Coach Ank will have his hands full with the Cocks.
Week 2 starts conference play with a home bout with San Jose and Coach Taruncheels. This will be a good test to see where Air Force season is headed.
Boise- Week1 & 2 have Boise taking on UMass and Tulane. The home game with Tulane will wont be easy but a good test for the Broncos.
Colorado State- week 1 test in Tuscaloosa is no joke, a win for the Rams and this season all the sudden seems special. The week 2 bye was smart considering another tough test comes week 3.
Fresno State- A week one road game at Ohio against another Auburn Tiger and then a week 2 road game at BYU and hopefully more bruising of the bagels!
Hawaii Rainbow Warriors- week 1 scrap with the Eastern Michigan Eagles will show us if the Chee Pono attack has made any improvements from last season. Week 2 is a tussle with Bye.
Nevada Wolf Pack- a trip to Florida to play with the Florida International Golden Panthers will be a test for the Wolf Pack. Week 2 will be the bye for Coach Graysonhulett.
New Mexico Lobos- Coach Bearass got Jacksonville State to come to the wolf den week 2 along with a showdown at home with the Sueypig Razorbacks week 1. This is another test that could showcase the MW strength against the Razorbacks.
San Diego State- Week 1 bye will help get the Aztec’s ready for their showdown with the Beavers of Oregon State in week 2 and help them get ready to defend that title.
San Jose State Spartans- week 1 show down with Washington at home and then conference play week 2 against Air Force. This is another chance for the MW to show it belongs against the mighty Huskies.
UNLV- Blackrain and his runn’in Rebels need that week 1 bye before a home game against The Ohio State. I cannot state how big it would be to get that win week 2.
Utah State Aggies- Coach Buckeye and his Aggies get the Georgia State Panthers at home and then a trip to Northern Illinois. This is a manageable first two weeks and the Aggies should be 2-0.
Wyoming- a week 1 trip to Troy is a very winnable game. Week 2 is a bye, we look for Wyoming to be 1-0 after this block.

Oregon State- Coach Untouchable and his untouchable beavers get the Sam Houston St Bearkats week 1 and San Diego week 2. Week 1 should be a nice tuneup game for his week 2 showdown against the Aztecs.
Washington State- week 1 at Marshall is a nice test for Coach xLiqx and then a big test at Purdue and Coach Outlaw who is flying under the radar with his Boilermakers.
