started playing last night

i don't see much different about the game at all. won my first 3 or 4 online season games and then dropped one to a good player.

will probably try to play club around like 6 pm if anyone is around.

my only thought is that the players/graphics seem sort of smaller than i remember. but it could just be my imagination after playing Madden the last few weeks

I really like how offense plays online, but I really hate how defense plays. High pressure and aggressive interceptions are way over-tuned. It could be relative to the change in the first touch and passing control needed on offense, but defenses close down way faster this season.

Every time I make a pass longer than 10 yards, I have terrible nightmares about BigMike User FS interceptions.

Yep, and if the team you're playing decides to play keepaway (esp the computer), good luck getting it back.

Sprinting with the ball has been tuned quite a bit and I love it. So have lobbed through balls down the middle (they don't work, thankfully) and headers, you can no longer just mash the button and hold. You have to actually time your jump now, which is great.

Free kicks are back....I've already scored 2 in 4 attempts (one being a 35 yd curler that Reign can attest to), with one of the other attempts going off the bar with my pro. In other game modes, I'm scoring at about 50% from inside 35 yards. Gonna be a fun game for me

What exactly do we need? I created as a LWB but played a lot of CDM in previous years. Not sure how often Ill be able to link up anyway being on MST and working a noon-midnight schedule so it may be a moot point

i don't play with randoms. NDL CITY will be formed if i get going on pro

Make whatever you want. I was just joking w Dave. I'm a CAM but I've played striker, winger, outside mid, inside mid, and holding mid. Make what you enjoy, change it around as you see fit. It's all about having fun.

There are no "randoms". There are three non-NDL guys, Reign played w two of them the other night, he can vouch for them. They communicate well

We need people that show up and play whatever position they sign up for... and not spam the "call for ball" button.

It takes about 2 mins to jump out of the setup, change your guy and jump back in. Going through menus seems faster than the last 2-3 seasons. A playmaker CAM build can handle anything from CDM to ST.

I just got a really touchy ref, and it was bad. You basically get a yellow for even bumping a guy

i'd like to get in some this weekend.

i played with some randoms yesterday and enjoyed it.

WE weren't missing penalty kicks....

Was a good night, we had one match where we had 4231 with all six mid/forward position and RB filled, and we dominated. Was one of the most enjoyable matches I've ever played in Pro Clubs.
