opposite of this the MAC is a fn disgrace with 8 teams having 5 games played or less. honestly though theres ALOT of teams with less than 5 games in. I count 23 at 5 or lower. I mean i know thats not bad considering the amount of members we have but damn.

MAC has played 39% of their games...Only Big 12, Big10 and Pac 12 have played 70% of their games or more. Pretty sad.

if i was in charge... and i'm not and won't be... i'd be shutting down alot of these Madden/OOTP/Fantasy forums for guys that aren't in good standing with their NCAA games.

inexcusable how many guys join 5 different leagues and online dynasties who don't complete their games first.

actually a really good point. I do see alot of guys around the forums doing other things like fantasy football or OD that have 2-3 games played all season

While I 100% completely agree with your 2nd statement, your 1st statement would cut the remaining life of the NDL by 90% or more IMO.

MADE UP STAT!!!

Trust me, i totally get you and would absolutely want to do that and trim the fat.

But I don't know that those are the best options for the NDL's long term viability.

when i ran the hoops league, it was a rule that the people in the league had to be caught up in their NDL games before they could join the hoops league.

they all did and it wasn't an issue.

if you're just spreading everyone thin playing in 20 different leagues, you're taking advantage of the NDL platform of solid gamers and not completing the purpose of the league .... an NCAA league. long term thats not sustainable either.

the core of this league always has been NCAA and always should be.

if guys want other leagues and don't want to fulfill their commitment to the NCAA league they should go pay for other forums and run their leagues there.

That's 2 leagues at different points in their life cycles.

As stated numerous times, the NDL isnt about NCAA and hasnt been for about the past 2 or 3 commishes.

The product is not what it used to be and has been overcome by a wider variety of better products in the PS3 realm.

In the PS2 days NCAA dominated, not anymore on the PS3.

The NDL is more about the boards and what branches from it which is what makes it great. If the NDL was solely about NCAA, this league would have been dead 2 versions ago if not earlier.

I understand what you are saying but being the businessman you are it would be a terrible business move to cut all the other (more popular) avenues of the NDL.

Just my opinion from someone that cant stand the game anymore and have better things to do with my time.

Cue the "Im so busy!!!" blah blah blah comment.

It would be interesting to compare this season to others in the past...we are in the last regular season block and 65% of the games have been played...and that is including UCF and Ole Miss that didnt actually play a single game but have already been simmed. Have any other season's been like this?

Cowboy Dave is going to have some competition this Halloween from Cowboy Cal.

My sister in Dallas has this whole set up already bought including chaps, pearl snap shirts (whatever that is) and boots.

Highly doubt he overcomes Cowboy Dave though but will be fun.
