Re: Wordle
I never went back to finish yesterday... was too busy spending an hour w/my daughter on fractions. Darn real life math getting in the way of games.

Re: Wordle
Wordle 229 5/6
+1 thru 2. This one took me a while to figure out. My second guess had to omit an already right letter just to narrow down the options

Drove the green? More like a popped up 220yd drive and went driver from the deck for 300 into the hole.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 11:05 am Drove the green and lopped out and nailed the putt for eagle

Re: Wordle
For immediate release,
The last 3 weeks have brought a level of cohesion and unity to these boards that we haven't seen in quite some time. For this i am forever grateful to Mr. Wordle, his family and the NY Times.
With that said, today, after an up and down 24 day career, i am announcing my retirement from all wordle activities.
I'd be remiss if i didn't thank some important people. First to Shelton, thank you for introducing us to the wordle community, without you none of us would be here. *puts the mic down, bows in the direction of shel* Thanks. To my 7th grade reading teacher, Mr Spadea. Thank you for teaching me the importance of deductive reasoning and for setting the foundation for critical thinking thru your daily puzzles. And lastly, to my family: Thank you for allowing me a few extra minutes in the bathroom each morning while i neglected my normal morning routines. I am truly excited to get those extra minutes back with each of you as i enter retirement.
While i wish my career was a little bit more successful, at least more successful than freaking George, I am proud of the work i put in each day and also the implementation of the golf scoring system which is now the standard in the Wordle community. *pause for applause*.
I step away knowing the community is in good hands.
Best wishes to all.

That too. We were at the hotel this morning getting ready to visit Kansas State's Aviation program and I pulled this up. After the first guess I took a flyer and as soon as it all popped green, I looked at the wife and said, "no shit, I got it on my second try." She called me a nerdReignOnU wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 11:33 amDrove the green?
