This IS the opportunity to kill Americans. They weren't cut off from the world till a couple of days ago

Why agree not to overrun/attack the airport and allow the continued evacuations of Americans?
The more time they give the government the more Americans that will get out. Doesn't seem like to good of a plan if that's what their endgame is.

Radical Islam has shown that they can wait for days/years/decades for the right time to strike. Get those 11000 (also heard it could be closer to 15000) even a little more hung out to dry and thats when they could strike. Why do it now when 1000 troops from 82nd just showed up overnight, and another Marine unit that just left the MEF Iwo Jima and are staged in Kuwait)?

Exactly. Thanks for making my point so how much danger are these Americans really in since the Taliban knows theres awhole lot of American kick ass waiting on them if they harm an American in this moment.
No one is arguing that the Taliban wouldn't do something months or years down the line. I'm only speaking about this moment in time with the evacuations of Americans due to the troop withdraw.

Why when asked very directly and then pressed on it again about how we will help those citizens that did not make it the airport, the US Press secretary did not say the US was doing anything and nor did they plan to do anything to assist those Americans who could not make it to the airport? She made it very clear the US was only helping those at the airport.

The Press Secretary from the Pentagon continually was saying they're protecting Americans at the Airport. When asked directly about American citizens outside of the airport, he said they will protect American citizens once they get to the airport.
I don't think this will end well, and any Americans that may die as a result is directly on Biden. It's just wild to me the nonsense we went through with the last impeachment, but something like this isn't an offense enough for a President to be forced out.
Why would the Taliban risk the consequences of killing an American at this moment that would draw American troops back into a country they now control thus resulting in them losing said control?

It is precisely the point that they are in relatively little danger today and never really were. You guys were going off like y'all's hair was on fire and thousands of American were facing imminent death. Which up to this point has been proven to be and exaggeration of the situation on the ground. We would have seen alot of dead Americans on the TV in the past couple days as they had every chance to accomplish that with the takeover of the country and the vast miscalculation of Biden troop withdrawal.
Reigny poo no one has said or even hinted at that the Taliban has always had regard for the consequences of dead Americans. I know your reading comprehension is better then that but oh well shake it off and get back in game there more arguing to be had.
