"Bank" Points
To encourage "dynasty" teams and get some credit for longevity and success (on the virtual gridiron and through league participation), Jeffmo created the "Bank" system.
The Banking of points allows a coach to "store" any amount of points over the amount the needed to keep their team to be used in a subsequent season.
The maximum allowed stored or banked is 5.
Example.
Team A has a grade of A-.
That coach needs a final point total of 92.5 to keep that team.
At the end of the season he gets his points and has a 96.
He gets to keep his team AND now has 3.5 points in his "bank" (96-92.5)
The next seaon he keeps the team but this time gets 89 on his final point total email.
He can then apply the 3 points from his 3.5 to give him the 92.5 needed to keep the team, and is left with .5 in the bank.
In the 3rd season he scores a 101 on his final point total.
He will now carry 5 points as "bank" into the next season since 5 is the maximum allowed bank total.

because you could have .3 1 season, then the next season have .7 then you have a full 1 point

Does the bank continually build up or is there a cap on the number of bank points you can accumulate?

this is the only part that confuses me.Nole4real wrote:He can then apply the 3 points from his 3.5 to give him the 92.5 needed to keep the team, and is left with .5 in the bank.
89+3=92
should the scenario be that if he had 4 points in the bank he would only use 3.5 and have .5 for next season?

Re: "Bank" Points
can you say you want to enter the draft but decide to pick your team that you had last season, can you still keep those bank points? example....
I have Idaho and exceeded my goal with 5 bank points. I decide to enter the draft for a specific team and if they werent there I go and select Idaho again, do those bank points roll over? Or do you forgo the points because you entered the draft?

Re: "Bank" Points
bank points are like college eligibility, once you enter the draft, and stay in, you can't jump back to college

Re: "Bank" Points
It really sucks when you come up under 1 point short and have to lose your team.

If you weren't so cheesy, you'd be fine.Mattdaddy wrote:It really sucks when you come up under 1 point short and have to lose your team.
