GoTW - Week 9
Dakshdar: 3-1 (1-1) vs. RanDawg: 1-2 (1-0)
Big game for both coaches here. Rutgers has a loss in conference play already and cannot afford a second loss if they still have hopes of winning the AAC. Houston hasn't suffered a conference loss yet but needs to stay even with Louisville so they cannot really afford to have Rutgers steal this one from them. Statistically the edge goes to Rutgers, especially on the offensive side of the ball. They are currently putting up 10 more points that the Cougars and around 100 more offensive yards per game. Defensively both teams are fairly even. Take aways are not a big part of their games and putting pressure on the QB's doesn't seem to be of high importance either. Houston must find a way to extend their drives and keep Rutgers offense on the sidelines. As of right now the Knights are more than doubling the time of possession and that won't bode well for Coach RanDawg.
AAC Notables
Coach nole4real: 0-1 (0-0) vs. Coach BIGmike: 6-0 (3-0)
Man on a mission vs. man who seems to have left on a mission. If and when the game is played it's not even close. noley is done and BIGmike wants another trophy.
Coach razorback44: 3-0 (1-0) vs. Coach buckeye76: 0-0 (0-0)
Boise State is a resurgent team this season after having a few off seasons. Currently sitting at 3-0 and ranked in the Top 10 they're a team that could play the BCS buster. Cincy hasn't played yet but we all know buckeye will get them in. Can they be a threat to razorbacks perfect season?
Coach oldschoola: 0-0 (0-0) vs. Coach Hart4Heisman: 0-1 (0-1)
AAC MIA vs. SEC MAWBMIA (Might as well be). Coin flip. If the game is actually played Memphis doesn't stand a chance.
Coach fsupenguin: 2-1 (0-1) vs. Coach footballkelly31: 0-3 (0-2)
SMU is looking for their first conference win. Temple is too. The Mustangs should be able to rejoin the race for the AAC title while the Owls will have to keep waiting for the first W.
Coach Black Rain: 0-3 (0-1) vs. Coach driccio21: 2-1 (0-0)
The Golden Knights have resurfaced after a long slumber but haven't quite gotten into their groove yet. After a dismal start, the Huskies have put together two straight wins but are now coming back from a long break. Will this be the opportunity UCF needs to get that coveted first win?
